As a successful restaurant owner I can review this with confidence in knowing the service industry standards. When it comes to waitstaff, if you don’t like people or customer service you are in the wrong industry. While waiting by the bathroom the servers were very loudly talking trash about customers in your small restaurant for all clients to hear, it’s not only petulant but it’s incredibly disrespectful. Happy not supporting this business again.

The food was good and the service was good. It’s a beach lifestyle setting, so patience is key with the slower pace.
That said, the portion size was very disappointing. My sofrito bowl came with only one plantain and three shrimps for almost $20. I wouldn’t feel confident returning.

Spectacular pancakes, French toast, and gravy biscuits! Next time I’ll get the breakfast burrito cause I’m sure it would also be just as good! I highly recommend if your touristing and want a solid place to go to. Also loved the music in here and a big thanks to our great waitress Tia

WE LOVE TINY TURTLE over here at Junk Food Bakery! We order for our staff sometimes and all of our employees love the breakfast! We love being neighbors with the best restaurant in town 🙌

The place looked great, and we were excited to try it based on the online reviews. We ordered chips and salsa, a burrito, a shrimp taco, and a mahi taco. The regular salsa had almost no flavor and tasted like watered-down tomatoes, while the ghost pepper salsa was rancid with a strange sweet-vinegar taste. The burrito was just okay, definitely not worth nearly $20. The mahi tacos had an overwhelmingly fishy smell and taste, almost like old or poorly frozen fish, and we couldn’t eat more than a small bite. The shrimp taco was better, but still disappointing. Overall, it was the worst meal of our vacation—bland food, off-tasting fish, and bad salsa made it feel like a total waste of money. Awkward service and uncomfortable with a man and his small dog up on the table eating from his plate. I don’t write reviews but with all the 5 star reviews I feel like this needed to be shared, sorry!
