My husband and I came here this morning for breakfast. Upon walking in, I immediately smelled mold/mildew. Not a great impression despite the nice modern farmhouse decor. We were seated promptly, and our order was taken pretty fast. Obviously based on the menu you could tell this was just typical diner food, nothing special or “stand out” so my standards weren’t super high. My husband got the sampler platter, with eggs over medium. I got the griddle combo with French toast, sausage, eggs over medium. Our food came out really quick, we were surprised by that. Immediately my husband noticed his eggs were under cooked - the whites were still raw. Mine were too but I don’t like sending things back, my husband sent his back and the waitress came out with new eggs in a few minutes. My husband said they looked ok, because they did, but when he cut them up the whites were still raw (again). We let our waitress know and she took $2 off of our bill. On the plus side, my French toast was pretty good. Overall regarding the atmosphere/food/service there weren’t enough positives to make us come back, especially not to a breakfast place that doesn’t know how to cook eggs lol.

Delicious Western Omelet. No Eggs Benny at this location?! Maybe not popular enough.

Is that me, or is it becoming increasingly difficult to find a great breakfast place? Well, this place will make you leave with an enormous smile!
I have witnessed the world's most beautiful poached egg! I have eaten pancakes that I will never forget and had the most delicious hash browns!!! . They are indisputably made from real, fresh potatoes.
The French toast made with vanilla cinnamon batter... It was sooo good, I think I will be going back there for breakfast tomorrow.
The service from Jan was incredible and honestly, it lived up to my standard in every way. I no longer eat funky diner ketchup and strive to find places that make an effort in that department.
The delicious ketchup and salt were made from a company called the Cheney Brothers. The syrup was amazing too. It was definitely their own recipe and every single bite was magical. The atmosphere was very beautiful and relaxing and unpretentious. There is a really good laundromat in the same shopping center, so you can put your clothes to wash and go eat there , instead of standing around! ????????

My husband suggested this restaurant as he had had a good breakfast here recently. He described it as “good homemade food” (but to stay safe he added “but not as good as yours!”, good save!) I like a good unfussy breakfast, and was looking forward to some “homemade” tasting food.
We were directed to a booth quickly and greeted by our server for our drink order. Drinks arrived quickly and I was deciding if I wanted to spend carbs on a biscuit. I asked the server if they were homemade. She said “we bake them here”. I clarified my question to “do you MAKE them here” to which she replied, “no, they come in frozen”.
Strike one. You CANNOT be a “Country cooking “ restaurant with frozen biscuits. I decided to see how a frozen biscuit was, never having had one.
I ordered the Scrambler as did my husband, with a biscuit for me and a pancake for him.
There must have been 47 potatoes in each dish, a MOUND of potatoes with 2 scrambled eggs on top. No gravy on mine (ordered that way) a few sparse onions and peppers, and cheese. Potatoes were deep fried which made them nice and crispy. I asked to taste my husband’s gravy as I wanted to see how deliciously they made sausage gravy. I am 99% sure that the gravy was from one of those big 10lb cans you get at a wholesale place. The gravy was blech! It was almost grainy- and mostly flavorless. I should add here that the biscuit was also flavorless- as well as tough as a shoe.
You cannot seriously call yourself “Country Cooking” if you cannot get biscuits and gravy right- or homemade.
Service was good, atmosphere was busy- but I likely will not be back.

Stopped in for breakfast because the reviews were so high. The atmosphere is very country but also very warm. I pity the staff working in that heat. We were seated immediately and ordered the Country Scrambler and the Western Omelette. The omelette came with a biscuit with gravy and she also offered potatoes. That’s too much so I didn’t get any. Everything tasted good, but wow that scrambler came with a pound of potatoes! Our server was good. He had a good experience, but there are other places to try.
