I am an Uber eats driver and have been here a few times for pick up the service is always friendly and fast. I was there this past weekend to pick up an order and got some food for myself. This is the best I have had since leaving New York and will recommend this place to everyone.
I have found THE SPOT! I've tried the oxtail, curry goat, mac and cheese, and collard greens so far, and let me tell you, this food is cooked with love! I've been to Flavas twice already this week and have a feeling I'm going to turn into a regular. If you're looking for delicious Jamaican food, this is the place!

We stayed close by after traveling from New Jersey. The food exceeded our expectations. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! My husband and I had the fried snapper, curry goat, and the jerk chicken meals. It’s was so flavorful and everything had a nice heat/spice to it. We also ordered their pineapple ginger lemonade and that was good as well. And that escovitch was the best I’ve ever had. The staff was very hospitable ?…. Thank you for your great service.

After all she’s an excellent cook.Every so often, she ventures out but after such an unforgettable experience at Jerk Flavas, I think she will be returning to Jerk Flavas more frequently. Yep it was that good ?The ackee and saltfish was made to order and although there were no provisions available, the chef made an exception and got my wife exactly what she was craving… yellow yam and green banana. She also had a side order of callaloo.The smile on my wife’s face as she was eating was truly priceless. This place rocks! The owner greets you with a grin, the aroma in there is amazing as everything is made from scratch. You may have to wait a bit if you order something that isn’t a popular item because she’ll have to make it for you. She will tell you exactly how long the wait will be!The first time I went I got jerk chicken. It was spicy the chicken was moist. It came with rice and beans with a side dish of what looked like coleslaw but it was warm and spicy. The portion was large ( enough for two meals) and the taste was amazing.Today when I visited I ordered the oxtail, collard greens and a jerk chicken pastry. Everything I ordered was popular and it was readily available.Their collard greens were the best greens I’ve ever had. The flavor was perfect with just enough spice. The oxtail melted in my mouth and the pastry was made with jerk seasoning, the crust was moist and flaky.I chose the carrot cake for dessert and savored every bite! Not only can this owner cook but she can also bake! AMAZING!The ambience is very relaxed. Wear your comfortable clothes. I took my last meal home and it reheated nicely.If you want the real deal this is where you need to go! Pleasant, down to earth and sensational food!
