The only problem I have with the food is the barbeque sauce itself. It's not bad, but it's very average and a little too heavy on the vinegar. The food meanwhile is cooked very well. Smoked. Dusting of rub. Good moisture. And the feast for four can feed a family for at least a couple days.
I just wish the barbeque sauce was better. Would make the prices worth it.
Dietary restrictions: Pork, Beef, and Poultry options are all on the menu for those who abstain from specific meats, like pork.

Clean, homey, restaurant with terrific staff. Nice, clean, roomy bathrooms. Plenty of parking spaces.
Sweet, regular, and spicy BBQ sauces were fairly bland. The meat is smoky and flavorful so sauces aren't necessary. Pulled pork, ribs, and all the sides we ordered were good.

Been wanting to try out this establishment for awhile so I stopped there last weekend with my spouse and had breakfast. Service was okay. Server seemed overwhelmed and didn’t really check on us too often and messed up my order after telling me it would be a 20 minute wait on home fries so I could get another side order and pay the upcharge of $1. I told her I would just wait in the home fries. She still brought out another side instead of the home fries 25 minutes later. I was almost finished eating my veggies omelet when I felt a crunch of egg shells in my teeth. I instantly felt sick and spit them out there is no way they didn’t see all of those shells in the eggs. As far as the appearance of the restaurant it looked clean but did have a damp smell. I don’t plan on going back again.

Drove by and saw many cars in the parking lot so decided to swing in for lunch. Kay's is a wonderful family table type restaurant. I didn't meet Kay personally but felt I did through her food. Good, tasty dishes and nice staff.

Kay’s is a local family style restaurant. Perhaps not the place for those looking forhealth food. But for good old-fashioned, pancakes, eggs, and burgers you can’t go wrong. An important to me is that they are dog friendly.??

Felt food was overpriced, but service and quality of food was good, quantity was very disappointing for price, I probably won't return.

I went there on a whim, and because someone told me they were good. I went and the girl who took my to go order was very nice, friendly and personable. I think her name was Katie. She is the one in the picture. The place was very clean. Even the bathroom. The food was great, even though I was a little disappointed that I could only get the pulled pork dinner instead of a tub of it. They were also out of Brunswick Stew, which is a must for BBQ. Other than those 2 little things, it was great. I will recommend it to everyone.

When you eat at Kay's you get more than enough food. The food is really awesome. And the staff is friendly and spectacular. I eat there at least 2 to 3 days a week.
