A low key spot just off the highway to enjoy some good food and enjoy the view. The staff were friendly and the food was good. First time eating gator and it was great.

We had to stop here after our gator airboat right to try out the sampler of the local catfish , alliGator and frog legs. It was Sunday so there was a live band which made it fun, lots of Harley-Davidsons and local folks. They do the airboat towards there as well but a bigger boat than the private tour is on the other side of the freeway. Service is a bit hectic, and we had to wait and flag down servers to keep us. And no water to drink, you have to buy bottles.

Hands down the best fried catfish, gator tail, or frog legs you'll find in Brevard Country. Good ole southern food. Right on the St. John's River, the scenery is classic Florida beauty.

The service was non-existent. You can't avoid the cigarette smoke because of the wind. So if you don't like smoking that's going to be a big one for you.The gator meat was black inside. Which means it was rancid. Most of the bits are tiny so you won't detect this. I thought it tasted kind of off. I'm not new to Gator. But this is some of the worst Gator I've ever eaten. And what's worse is I spent the entire night sick afterwards. I should have trusted my gut when I thought it wasn't right.If you never had gator before don't let this place be your only impression.

My good friend wanted frog legs ?We went there for her,I don't eat them but she loves them and I took her there to get those legs and she was in heaven ?
Found this by chance. Took the airboat, it's a must! Loved it. Ate some lunch, gator of course. Good food, atmosphere and people. Will be back!!

Huge disappointment. I visited the Lone cabbage for about 40 years. In the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s there was still a bit of Southern Hospitality to be found there. Back in town to bury my little brother, I thought I’d stop by for a few beers. We used to come out to the camp together. I approached the outside bar & was actively avoided by the barmaid. Turned her back & flat ignored me. After ten minutes I left. Saddened that this has become another casualty of northern rudeness.
