Wow. The portions, the service, the FOOD! ALL 5 STAR. Hand breaded and homemade. No frozen bs here! Erica was great. Food came out super fast. 1 cook in the back rocking out orders without missing a beat. Next time we're in town, definitely coming back. This is the kind of restaurant I miss having around.

I had to lower my rating, which is disappointing. I brought my husband here this morning because he doesn't live here, and I wanted him to enjoy it. We spent $55, and most of the food ended up being thrown away by the server. I had recommended the restaurant, so it's disappointing when it turns out not to be good. His pancakes were undercooked, his bacon was practically raw, and the sausage links were very chewy. My French toast was mushy in the middle. I always get the French toast! What's even worse is that my parents won't come here, and they told my husband that Mitchell's was hit or miss during the week so they don’t visit at all. I was determined to prove them wrong. I suggest they work on consistency - while I've only ever come during the week, the food should still be consistent. I asked if it’s the same cook every day and one of the servers said yes so maybe there’s some burnout. Maybe I’ll try them again in a few months but my husband has stated he will not return.
