Super local BBQ joint. Service is very personal. Barbeque is awesome. Collard greens were amazing. We Also tried the chitlins and if you are in to that they were cooked perfectly and tasty.
Excellent fried pork chops, Ox tails, Fried Fish, stewed beef. The dinners come with your choice of several delicious sides (Collards, Lima Beans, Black-eyed peas).

I grew up here, Mr. BBQ deserves mad respect, he served a community when no one else did, I'm 42 and I've been eating here since I was a child, Anytime I come back home it's the first stop I make. I will always support this business. Y'all complaining about a mask, but if other restaurants did the same less people would be sick. Thank you for protecting my health and yours Sir.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly always has been, I remember when he had a game room just for us. He makes sure that people respect children in his restaurant.

I wanted some BBQ and always try to support the local community. After walking in and I took a look around the place, enough said. It was then I decided I would still try the food, but it would be to go. An older man came flying out from around the corner with masks in his hand, telling my wife and I we had to put on a mask or leave.
Now you know why I could not rate the food, my wife and I just walked out the door.

Best food in the whole world. I really mean that! I have never been disappointed and the owner is amazing. The food and drinks are amazing. It’s the only place left that allows me to think of the good ol days. It brings back the past and allows for good memories. Name any restaurant and this will beat it. Better than McDonald’s all the way to Benihana. It’s all about the whole deal not just food. Excellent customer service. I will forever appreciate this restaurant and thanks Mr.BBQ for all the great times ?

Do you miss the good old days? This place is like going into the past. You have to wear a mask to go in, but it's worth it. It tastes like old-school home cooking. Don't be in a hurry. Order your food , sit down and relax. Soon you will be eating home cooking. You can't beat that!

Great flavor, nice owner given a second chance I would have ordered something other than the rib sandwich which was still on the rib bones, pretty hard to start eating without something silverware to get the bones cut out and be able to have the sandwich.
