Our family was on a Norwegian cruise and got off our ship very early on a Saturday. Our flight wasn’t until later that evening so we wanted to kill some time. We did an airboat tour with a different company earlier that morning, and afterwards, the captain recommended that we go across the street to the Lone Cabbage Fish Camp for good food and drinks. Great time for our family with toddlers. Sounds like it is best to do this when cooler to see more gators. We went at 11 AM in May and it was 85 degrees. We saw several dozen. Also saw some babies, a lot of cattle, and bald eagles. We arrived around 10:15 and waited about 30 minutes to board.
Incredible experience! We saw so many gators that we lost count, and the tour guide was very accommodating and knowledgeable. If we're back in the area, we plan on going again!
