Village Idiot Pub is reliable on hours and for straight up drinking. My issue are two items:
1. Screaming metal music is not inviting 2. The menu advertises 16oz drafts but they serve you in 14oz glassware. This is illegal and bad business practice. The pricing is high and assumes those extra ounces.
Do better and don't trick/deceive customers.

Just a wonderful beer on the streetside patio after a busy Sunday. Can't say much more until I get back to Cocoa Village with a chance to hang out.
Asked a patron who I thought would win. Learned that the topic was not allowed. Patron tells bartender I had a question. I said I wanted to ask who I thought would win. Was told I would owe the bartender a bottle of wine for talking about politics. Didn't take it too seriously until I later asked if I could play "This Land is Your Land" for the open mic, not wanting to cause upset. She said that would be fine but that I already owed her a bottle of wine. Found out the hard way. On election night! So I left. Felt unwelcome, won't be coming back. Which is too bad bc I used to like this place.

A local gem that I am so appreciative of. Great vibe - community focused. People - they chill their wine glasses - generous pours! Diverse local beer selections. Really can’t say enough about this place. 👍🏼👍🏼
