I have never walked of a restaurant before in my life until now. Server took our drink order. Brought wrong beer. Okay. No problem. She said let me fix that for you. Left. Came back to take our order. No beer. Out of Ruben . Out of cakes of any kind(wife wanted the Bavarian chocolate). Hmmm. Okay. Ordered the pretzel appetizer, the fish sandwich and a salad. 30 minutes later still no beer. No pretzel and not one glance from the server. One couple had already left without ordering. I gave up. I’m sorry to say we just left having drank half of my tap water. Extremely disappointing. I do not recommend this place. Too bad cause there aren’t too many places like this around.

You can go here anytime and have a great meal and a fun atmosphere. You go on a Friday night or Saturday night and it’s the best time you will ever have. What I like is it’s not a specific crowd it’s people from all walks of life having a good time dancing, listen to the DJ and relaxing. By far a must stop in cocoa village

This place has really changed, not for the better… We were told to seat ourselves and the lady would be right over. We sat for much longer than we should have before she looked up and said she forgot about us. There were two, maybe three couples at the bar and that’s it. Not a single other person sitting down. My water tasted like chlorine, my boyfriend’s Coke Zero was low on syrup and my brother’s sweet tea tasted like it was the butt end of an unsweet tea batch. We were never checked on. Our food took 40+ mins to get out. Thought about leaving to go elsewhere but wanted to see how much longer the food would be and was told the food is made fresh before we could even say a word. The pork schnitzel was room temperature when it arrived and realized half of it was pink still. We told our waitress and asked for a manager. She said she was the manager and immediately said “well our pork is dropped at 400 degrees” and when we said our grits are soup, she defended that as well. Grits shouldn’t need a spoon to eat or be soaked in garlic oil. My boyfriend couldn’t even eat the grits and we were comped *$1.80* when he took two bites. Again, never checked on once. Would have loved a different drink option or had a chance to order something else instead of the grits. Never had such a combative manager when we had issues with food, didn’t even look at the pork that was clearly pink and just said that’s not possible. I wanted to say more to her regarding the service but my boyfriend explained everything so nicely to her and I didn’t want to ruin that. Won’t be back until something changes.

Also, that was a pork chop. Not schnitzel.

New ownership. I've been coming here for years, and it was terrible. No spaetzle, no German sausages, and the Jaeger schnitzel was terrible. I will never go back, sad to say

So far from the new soft opening not impressed. The new food options are overpriced and mainstream. Was hoping for the same German feel. Also. The new waitresses should have some sort of “uniform “. Some looked horrible. Also. Paid with cash and the waitress assumed her tip. Didn’t even consider making change. Idk. After 5 years idk if we will be back.

Update: definitely will not be going back until these new owners are gone. Everything about the Beer Garden is gone. Very sad.

A year ago, this place was the heart of Cocoa Village. Authentic German food, fun music, beautiful decor... Now it is a shell of its former self. The decor has diminished, the food is low quality and expensive, and the staff is shockingly rude. The many times I've visited, I knew the Biergarten was a place to relax. It used to be a place to have great food and great conversation. Now, it is a generic roadside bar trying to disguise itself as a hot spot. I am foolishly hoping it can return to its previous glory. Until then, I'll be going to Murdock's

So disappointing. Apparently, this restaurant has changed hands and can no longer be considered a German Restaurant. The schnitzel was tasteless and had hardly any sauce with a bunch of canned mushrooms. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm. We waited for over 15 minutes for someone to come to our table even though the restaurant was not crowded at all. The floors are dirty and it was just not a good experience all around. Don’t waste your money here. There are better alternatives. We won’t be back. Also I door dining is not air conditioned. Very stuffy and humid.

My husband and I enjoyed this restaurant. The food was inexpensive and tasty. The atmosphere was amazing and we even got to get our dance on. The party was live and the DJ had the crowd rocking all night. I will definitely be back and when we return we will have all of our party people with us

I unfortunately thought this was under the ownership that was during my previous visits. I was all excited for the flatbread pizza that I usually get and now it is just regular Americanized food for the most part. There’s a few little German foods and the rest of the menu is food I could get anywhere. The fries were still uncooked inside. The jalapeño poppers were a bit chewy. The frankfurter was tasty compared to everything else. Hopefully since they are under new ownership, things will get better.

This Saturday we went by at a little after 8 pm to see what changes have happened. It was dead. We decided to go to another pub for an hour. On our way back we stopped by again but this time they were closed. To close at 9:30 pm on a Saturday is not a good sign.

I’ve been coming here for years but my first in 2025 and I believe it’ll be my last. Service was very slow and the meals have been changed. Portions are smaller and quality is all over the place. I cannot recommend this place anymore. Even during slow hours the music is so loud you cannot carry a conversation, order your food, or even ask the bartender a question.

The evening we visited they were painfully understaffed and we had to move tables because they forgot we sat down 20 minutes prior. Even after moving it took another 15 just to get menus. This is all after I went and asked the bartender if I could get someone to help us after we were told to “sit anywhere”

This was great not too long ago but it’s gone downhill in just 8-10 months since my last visit
