I had the milanesa a caballo, a breaded steak with an egg on top, and it was mediocre to say the least. Never have I ever paid almost $25 for a milanesa that was a third of the plate. For that money it should come on its own platter. Nonetheless the milanesa was also chewy and under seasoned. The eggs were not runny and the salad was insignificant. Now the empanadas I had were another story. The empanadas were of the classic sweet beef type and the short rib type. The classic sweet beef was phenomenal and the short rib was competing with it.
So in short, if you want an authentic Argentinian snack, come here. If you are looking for a hearty meal, go elsewhere.
I recommend the empanadas, nothing else.

It's definitely worth a trip. We tried it because of the name that said Argentinian Family (A Family). Great vibe/decor. Loved the cortadito, and ham & cheese sandwich. The service is very nice too. You place your order at the counter, and they serve you at the table.
