“This was my first time here and let me say… not my last!! I have been wanting to come here about three months when I saw a Facebook review. Yesterday, finally had the opportunity to do so. I went with my mother and aunt. The welcome crew as soon as you walk through those doors was so inviting and friendly. Being our first time there and our waiter was very patience with us and gave us some suggestions . Now when you hungry you usually eat with your eyes not your stomach and as soon as the food started to come out we had no room for the main dish. I have to take this time and praise the crew, give them altmost respect, kudos and applaud them (waiters/waitress)for their excellence customer service they gave us. They work as as a team and make it there mission that all tables are attended to even if it not there table. We were blown away with the service!! The service all around was fantastic! I have a funny story before you speak to strangers in another table be careful you never know who you’re talking to. We made small talk with another table he was eating alone we share with him family history and how restaurants today don’t make food like they used to. Now days owners just let there cooks take control of the kitchen even thou they have different authenticity they don’t cook the same way puertorican do. So when you let a cook take control the food does not taste authentic of the food any more. But its not the case here its genuinely authentic puertorican food. We learn first hand we were talking to the owner himself now tell me it’s a small world. Remember It’s a family owned business so go give it a try! You won’t be disappointed. “We came in for our last meal on our trip to Miami based and this restaurant did not disappoint. Tomas was our server and he gave great recommendations. We ordered a couple of entrees and the Mofongo with Shrimp and garlic sauce was our favorite. Delicious!!“

“So many different flavors to pick from and they are all delicious. Our favorite one is the Bourbon flavor. For the end of the year holidays, the bottles even come decorated which makes them great gifts. I ended up buying individual bottles to all my staff at work. I recommend Coquito Key 100%!“
