I love this school and the new friends I have made in the band program and in my classes.
They don't know how to do their JOB!! Plus NEW YORK EDUCATION HAS A HIGHER STANDARD THEN THESE SLOW BUTT HEADS !!
I graduated in 2016 and let me tell you I really liked it here. It was so comfortable to be there. The principal, Shawn Cerra, was exceptional. Teachers were kind and helpful well... most of them. It’s a shame to see things have gone so downhill since then.
I went to school here and it was decent,students were very studios but teachers were questionable at times,i really disliked the principal (ive been told by teachers they have been forced to do things they dislike because of new principal's decisions)it didnt seem like they knew what to do with their testing and lesson plans with the new a,b system.some clubs and classes require you to pay a large amount to even be able to do certain activities??some were decent like $15 but others where like $200 and i dont know about you but i dont really have that type of money just laying around,and it does even go to you,you still have to pay for the events you go to(like trips).overall the school needs improvements yes,but with smart and new world students,i think it can become a better school.:))))
they have a petophile for a gym teacher after i went to every ap and the principle wrote a statement after many girls coming out. AND still nothing was done. not even an unpaid leave of absence.
Best high school ever, i enjoyed my 4 years at this school, i was very proud when i graduated. I made great friends with most of my teachers, and i made friends for life at this school. Great enviroment for teachers and students lots of programs and clubs. Overall it was an amazing experience going to this high school.

This school went downhill :( thank god i graduated 2011. After the old principal left, this school got worse. Do not take your kids to this school!!! Its not safe
this school gotta stop with the threats plenty of parents were worried today and can't even take their children to school tomorrow cause they won't know what will happen im a freshman and I was in the school when this happened these kids have to start growing up and stop playing games
