don rodone ceviche & more

As I walked in I was taken away by the aesthetic of the restaurant and I was swiftly greeted. The customer service was impeccable… except when he kinda begged for a tip…. It made everything leading up to the transaction feel like an act…I’ve had plenty of lomo saltados in my day.. but this may as well have been canned steak over rice and fries … it tasted frozen and thawed out …. No flavors of seasoning ??…not even cilantro… super disappointing experience overall… that was steak soup not lomo saltado… Peru would not approve.

The selection of ceviche and other Peruvian dishes was great. Prices were reasonable. Drinks were large. Service was friendly and servers were happy to answer questions since this was our first time eating this cuisine. Laid back and casual, this restaurant exceeded our expectations.

My mother and I enjoyed the drinks, food and dessert! My mother is from Peru and she absolutely LOVED it! The place is cozy, not too large, great atmosphere and great service. We will be coming back.

Ive Been coming to this restaurant for quite a bit and honestly I do not usually write reviews . But this place is well deserved one. I'm always looking not only for great service but mainly the flavor of the dishes. And let me tell you guys. This place has it all .... I've tried most of the dishes and it's like a PARTY IN MY MOUTH Every time !!! My favorites are ceviche , Lomo, Seco and chaufa. come check this guys out you won't regret it... big shot out to Rafael... bringing awesomeness to the table ???

I use to come to Rodone Restaurant with my friends and family. We alway say the same thing. The best food and service ever. Thank you peruvian food the best. Rodolfo and his team the best.

A great hidden gem. The dessert chef was jamming out to island music as we ate, clearly enjoying himself...and so were we! The wife started with the mussels ceviche, and we quickly found out that many of the dishes were simple ingredients, but balanced so well and bursting with flavor. I was in the mood for the pesto basil linguine, but also a Lomo saltado, and luckily they had both together as one dish. Probably the most tender and juicy beef I've had in that dish. Everything was fresh including the homemade basil pesto that I saw him blending for my dish.The wife had a specialty Cau Cau, which is beef stomach in a stew form with potatoes and rice, and although that's not my cup of tea, she was gushing about how rich and earthy the flavors were.The dessert was divine. They had a homemade butter cookie that crumbled perfectly with a type of dulce de leche in the middle. Then we also had sweet potato and pumpkin "donuts" with a Peruvian honey that were incredible.Prices were so reasonable too. Definitely our new favorite Peruvian place.

Gabriel is the best host. I asked him what I wanted. I wasn't sure from the menu, so he made recommendations. I asked him to get me what he likes best so he asked me to try a little bit of ceviche mix and little bit of seafood fried rice. The best decision ever. The food, the presentation, we're off to charts. They had not shoe string but more like threads string type onion ring and potato fries which were amazing served as decoration. The hot sauce on the side was damn hot and I am Indian so I should know about hot food. I asked the ceviche to make it spicy. It was on the spot. Love love love. Amazing five star food and service. Thank you Gabriel I will be back. The seafood was fresh and the and the marinated lemonade sauce was amazing. It had pieces of fish octopus shrimp even a piece of sweet pumpkin.
