Today's date is 10/17/25. Purchased 3 foods there. 2 goat with rice and peas and a stew chicken with rice and peas. I tried to eat this and the rice looks like they just put it on the stove and took it down. I can't even chew this. Of recent, this Donna's is going down. I used to love food from here, now it's horrible. They know the rice was hard and they still gave people this

Always a long wait, food was good though. Tonight got there at 8:30pm, they were all packed up. Then when I told them the website said 10, they had an attitude. These night shift people want to go home early.

I really like the food at Donna’s (one of the better tasting ones after KBK closed). But boy the customer service here sucks! The people behind the counter are so slow and act as though they don’t want to be there. I was there today and the lady taking my order somehow couldn’t hear me and made a fuss when I corrected her on my order. when a very friendly older lady was ordering her food. The person behind the counter asked her what rice she wanted with her dish. The customer could not hear her and said something else. The lady behind the counter then started to raise her voice very rudely “peas and rice! Peas and rice!?” What!? How do you treat customers like that!

On August 29, I purchased an oxtail meal and was extremely disappointed. The oxtail was tough and undercooked, and the rice tasted stale. I tried calling the store but no one answered. By the next day, the rice had spoiled, and I had to throw the food away. I’ve been a loyal customer at this location, but this experience was very unacceptable.

So I went in for breakfast and asked for ackee and saltfish, they didn't have it, then I asked for callaloo and saltfish, they didnt have it, I asked for mackerel and you guessed it, they didn't have it. I then looked in the food trays and saw callaloo in one tray and saltfish in another tray. So I asked the server why don't you just give me callaloo from one tray and saltfish from the other. She said there would be an up charge of $7.00 even though they have callaloo and saltfish listed as a meal. I asked to speak to the manager. Manager agreed with the server. Someone explain to me how does this make sense? After 20 years of being a customer they lost me.

Good food but mannnnn the staff is so slow! It was so busy I watched 20 people open the door and close it back. Even People in the line started walking out. The management needs to know they are understaffed and not moving efficiently. Go up the street to Golden Crust little more but quick !!!!

Its really the workers who are not organized and you feel disregarded while waiting to be acknowledged for service. Couldn't tell who was waiting first because everyone is standing everywhere

They sharing the food as if you begging for it. Please put a good portion amount in the plate we SPENDING our money and put a smile on it…that’s why I chose Dutch Pot over them…

I ordered a small soup today on my lunch break, I open the soup and getting ready to take a spoonful, little did I know this was what I’d be met with. Go inside to let them know, and the lady in the back wants to tell me it’s a thyme leaf, this looks nothing like a thyme leaf. 😒 I’ve lost my appetite. Absolutely disgusting! 🤮

They served me and my husband stale food. We both had diarrhea.
