Honestly might have the best sandwiches, fries, pita, and gyro I've ever had in my life. Its like a shock to your tastebuds. Wait times arent terrible, and the staff is always very nice.

Our second time coming here from Miami because they have halal meat! We got a pasta and salad, and both dishes were presented super well and tasted fresh and flavorful. Great service.

My girlfriends and I eat there at least once a month we’ve always had excellent food. Fabulous service never had a bad meal. Everything was right on the spot so delicious. I highly recommend this place and you cannot beat the price also live entertainment on the weekend.

The most professional polite people!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hellenic Republic in Coral Springs, and I can confidently say it's a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the warm and inviting atmosphere. We chose to sit outside, and even though it was a bit chilly, our server went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, even providing my wife with a blanket. This small touch of customer care truly exemplified the top-notch service we received throughout the evening.
Now, let's talk about the food. Simply put, it was amazing! The shrimp and grits were absolutely to die for, and the octopus was cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed a pitcher of their sangria, which was incredibly tasty. Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented.
Overall, our experience at Hellenic Republic was exceptional. The combination of delicious food, great service, and a cozy ambiance makes this place a must-visit. We will definitely be back!

My visit to Hellenic Republic was truly impressive. The Greek food was remarkable and savory. The portions were plentiful and I will definitely return in the future.

We came today for dinner and were absolutely delighted! The dip sampler with tzatziki, potato garlic and pesto hummus was delicious and the pitas were pillowy soft! The Greek salad was superb. Spanakopita was hot, crisp and very tasty. Both entrees were plentiful, and scrumptious. We ordered gyros pita with Greek fries and the gyro bowl. The service was friendly and the option to sit inside or al fresco was nice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

The food was absolutely amazing. The fries were fresh, not greasy, and delicious. The chicken was moist and seasoned perfectly.

The owners need to hire new management - horribly unprofessional and not trained on customer service at all - which clearly trickles down to their staff. Be sure not to order through an app, because the kitchen staff doesn’t read and gets the orders wrong every time (with no one overseeing the orders going out). I know it’s hard to find quality workers in South Florida, but c’mon - this is the service industry. Such a shame, because the food is actually really good, so it’s overshadowed.

This place is fire! Always amazing food and service. Even if their busy it’s worth the wait which usually isn’t long anyway.

Disappointing Experience – Avoid at All Costs

I rarely leave reviews, but my experiences with Hellenic Republic Greek restaurant have been so consistently disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others.

First Incident: I placed an online order, waited for what felt like forever, only to show up and be told one of the entrées I ordered wasn’t available. They couldn’t be bothered to update their online menu or notify me before I arrived. Not a hint of an apology—just a shrug as if this was normal business practice.

Second Incident: I ordered their pork chop dish, which is advertised on the menu as two center-cut pork chops for $28. The order arrived with only one pork chop. When I called to point out this blatant misrepresentation, the staff rudely told me they had “adjusted the quantity due to rising costs” but hadn’t bothered to update their menu. Once again, no apology—just rudeness and indifference.

Cleanliness and Atmosphere: The condition of the restaurant itself is abysmal. The front waiting area is filthy, with furniture that looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. The place is poorly ventilated, and the lack of central AC makes it uncomfortable for everyone, including their staff, who seem downright miserable.

When I spoke to the manager to express my frustration and let them know I would no longer be a customer, I was met with rudeness yet again. The manager essentially told me they didn’t care if they lost my business.

It’s clear this establishment has no regard for its customers, no sense of accountability, and no interest in maintaining even basic standards of cleanliness or professionalism. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Sorry to say this restaurant is not worth the time, money, or frustration.
