What a gem! Came to the area for soccer and got rained out. This place saved the trip! Food and service were wonderful.

I had read so many great reviews about the butter chicken. I was eager to try it so I placed my first order for Indian food online for the medium Chicken Tikka Masala / Butter Chicken / Chicken Makhani, garlic naan, and Rasmalai. I love the fact that you can choose the spice level. It was ready in 15 minutes for pick-up. I got there in the 15 min and it was ready. The place is rather small and very very busy. I like that because my mindset is my good is fresh since it's so busy. The food was still hot (I thought) when I got home but when I started eating it I was disappointed. The rice that's given was OLD, hard, cold and tasteless. The butter chicken was still warm but it was soooooo sweet with lots of sauce and hardly any chicken. There was absolutely no pepper/spice to it. I couldn't eat it with the rice so I dipped the naan in it and it was a little better. It was now garlic naan w/ sweet creamy milk and chicken. Highly upset. The best part of this order was the dessert, Rasmalai. I really like those and I'd only return for that. There's another Indian restaurant right by Arun's that's much better as I ordered from it a few days later.

The food is pretty good, but unfortunately you have to wait hours for your food. The portions aren’t the greatest either.
I placed an order for two bowls of chicken and two naan, and it took the staff about 2 hours to complete. I was originally told 40 minutes for this small order, after arriving an hour later, I had stood in their store for an additional hour. The order was placed at 6:05PM and they finished it at 7:45PM (two bowls of chicken and naan).
Additionally, the store is quite gross. There was an active/live wasps nest above the pickup counter, and the place looks like maybe it gets cleaned once a week.
Food is decent, but the service and communication is abysmal.

Great food but the place is way too small for the amount of business they have. They will tell you the wait is 30-45 minutes and then make you wait over an hour for the food. It’s unacceptable for a takeout restaurant to take longer for service than a sit down restaurant.

Yes, the food is good but be prepared to wait much longer than they tell you on the phone for your pick up order. On average you will 10 to 20 minutes longer than they tell you, every single time! Also, the person at the front checkout is never nice, regardless of who it is. Obviously this restaurant has had so much success. They no longer care about the customer experience. What a shame because I like their food, but my family will never come back.
The food is absolutely delicious. This is a hole in the wall type place with the most scrumptious indian food you can order.

Arun's is cheap Indian takeout. Nothing is truly made fresh, it's all premade and they throw it together there. Samosas are premade and they just toss it in a frier. If you watch them cook, you can see them lift the large white buckets of premade sauces as they pour it into the pan. Even their mint chutney and tamarind sauces are gelatinous and gross. Everything they make tastes like no care went into the preparation.
If you want fine dining Indian, you don't want arun's. If you want cheap takeout food, you do want Arun's.

One of the worse experiences I have had with takeout. They packed my food poorly, were the sauce was leaking out from its container. All they did was put another bag over it. Never again
Best tika masala in South Florida.
