Izumo Japanese Restaurant

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The host and chef were incredibly friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we walked in. The portion sizes were very generous, leaving us more than satisfied. The food was absolutely delicious—bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection right in front of us. This place is a must-visit for hibachi lovers! Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back for more tasty dishes!

I kid you not, my kids and I stood there waiting for almost half an hour, and no one addressed us, not even an eye contact… until I politely walked up to one of the workers and said, are we going to be able to have a seat? She said she’s waiting for people that have already eaten to get up and leave. We stood there for another 10 mins, trying to be polite and mind our manners. We decided to respect ourselves, and leave. That has to be the most disrespectful experience I have ever experienced at an establishment. Wow!

The food was amazing and the restaurant is nice

We love Izumo. The price and food is excellent! Recently we had Saha as our chef and he was wonderful and entertaining! Constantly checking to make sure he prepared the food how we liked it.

A sushi place with no sushi? No idea what's going on since I've ordered from this place before, but it appears there's no longer any sushi on their menu. You cannot order sushi from their online menu. Doesn't appear to be a way to select a different menu either.

I think this is an A- hibachi restaurant. I grew up in Coral Springs and came for my birthday dinner, but I've had better hibachi food in chain restaurants. Definitely appreciate the atmosphere though. Our chef was wonderful. I do agree with another recent reviewer that the fried rice is phenomenal, but then the yum-yum sauce tastes nothing like it's supposed to. The chicken was spectacular, but the veggies were flavorless. The soup was very good as well as the salad. I just wish everything tasted equally excellent as the show was.

We been coming here for years! Always consistently excellent food and service.

I've been a loyal customer for 20 years of Izumo. All my kids birthday parties and special occasions were spent there. It saddens me to leave this review but I must.Today, my favorite cook Eddie, as always cooked the food well.Except my fillet was rancid.First time they served me bad food. I tried once piece and it was foul. They took it back to have owner inspect it. So, when I got the bill they took of fillet but charged me for sides I did not eat. I made no fuss but I'm highly disappointed that they would be so petty.I'll never go back.
