Pete's place is closed and judging from some of the really bad reviews lately I'm not surprised.... I really enjoyed the salad they made with pecan's, raisins, fruit, tomato, chicken and hard boiled eggs I'm gonna miss that

I worked At Pete's Place I'm sure some of you regulars know me..... the customers (unfortunately) cared WAY more about us than pete ever will or ever has. We received not even ONE DAY NOTICE of Pete's Place Coral Springs closing. He texted us late night on SUNDAY saying that that day was our last due to "unforeseen circumstances". He said that the rent was raised and he couldn't afford it. This is not something that is just out of the blue and something u find out about right away. Pete was having us use the food in the back of the fridge he was having us clear out things LITTLE DOD WE KNOW the reason behind all of that. He OF COURSE knew about this or at least had a thought about this for a long time and if he cared for us he would have told us to look for something else. YOU HAVE 4 employees and you can't let us know in advance about NOT WORKING. We barely made enough money to live yet we are working FULL time for this man's business every single day for him and he has no respect for us. Not even an extra dollar of severance pay since there was NO NOTICE of lay off. No notice what so ever and no money to compensate for the weeks of no pay the weeks of work we are all out of now. one of our coworkers calls him to see if he's okay, he is perfectly fine , amazing actually because he is going to Tennessee in 2 weeks.... A planned trip to another state not a single care for his employees who have worked for him for years. Boycott Pete's Place forever. This man is an AWFUL human being and I dont Understand how u can be such a family man but not have care for CHILdren Working under him. It's very sad. Bailey-Garey-1 is my Venmo if anyone wants to send me some severance pay pete couldn't "afford" lol.

3 of us went one morning sat outside, tables sticky, wound up cleaning them ourselves, food was healthy portions, mediocre in taste, very poor service, had to keep going in to get more napkins, catsup, staff too busy inside talking with each other, really wanted to like the place, won't be coming back

The service was wonderful but the food could use improvements. I ordered the double Pete's, which consisted of home fries, bacon, eggs, and sausage. The home fries were tasteless, the sausage had a weird porky flavor and bacon was refried. I did like the eggs and toast but other than that, it was not great ? . I wonder if the owner ever tasted the food that he/she is selling.

Two stars because the service was great! Not five stars because the food needs improvement. Came for breakfast, home fries potatoes were flavorless and dry.. I wonder if they use frozen stuff. Hashbrowns tasted like a dirty rug.. like if they wiped the plate with a wet mildewed towel, cooked on one side, raw on the other, no season, no flavor. I hope mgmt reads these reviews, and they make changes not to just sell food for $$, but to sell food so customers come back! the place has great potential but the food definitely needs QUALITY.

This place has a welcoming atmosphere for everyone, including small children which is what earned a star.The service is on point which earned a star.The restaurant was clean which earned a star.Where it fell short was the food for me and my party. My kids only ate the sausage links, didn’t touch their eggs, or French toast. (The French toast did look good!) They also didn’t touch their fruit bowl which did not look fresh.My meal and my friend’s meal looked very similar even though we ordered different things. All of Our eggs arrived flat like they’d been pressed down with a spatula. Hash browns and home fries were bland.Our biscuits were a smidge on the burned side.

Visited once, decided to return. Should have made a better choice. I ordered catfish breakfast and my fish wasn't cooked all the way through. I sent it back and was told it would be re-made. To my surprise the food came back out just as I sent it in, Pete disrespectfully just dropped the pieces of my fish back in the fryer and sent it back out to me. No apologies, explanations or care for me as a patron. I won't be back, there's plenty of local breakfast spots that will respect my dollar and offer better customer service!

This is my honest review. I visited this establishment twice for breakfast before this review. First it is busy and it seems they maybe short staffed. So the quality of service really lacks and is one of the reasons for three stars. The wait time is very long after being seated. We waited 25 minutes before our order was finally taken. One person takes our drink order then awhile later a second person takes our food order. The menu is robust with for both breakfast and lunch. When the food finally does come out, it's not hot, it's just warm. We ordered the usual eggs, bacon sausage and pancakes. The food is marginal and not what I expected after reading the menu. I also noticed that all of the plastic bottles are refilled and watered down. Ex. Ketchup, hot sauce and syrup. See picture of a very well used sticky syrup bottle. The ketchup is very watery. Clearly, none of the plastic bottles are new. I'm concerned if they are doing this in the front WHAT are they doing in the kitchen? Coffee is not refilled had to ask numerous times. Waitress forgot items that were ordered, both visits. The cups that are used to serve customers are chipped and cracked. See picture. The Resturant looks cluttered with personal belongings out in the open. Pots and pans stuffed under carts. If you are the owner and read this, Please fix what may become a bigger issue for your customers health and safety while at your restaurant. Not to mention your reputation.

Today is Sunday February 13th 2022 I was introduced to this restaurant yesterday I actually went back again today and brought my wife because the breakfast was so good The service was excellent they explained that it was going to be a while for their food as it is freshly cooked to order they suggested the southern style of food I had the chicken fried steak with poached eggs and home fries if you'd like your home fries well done and with onion this place was right on I want to thank Bailey for the great service and I look forward to being a regular at this hidden gem of a restaurant
Wow, I received service outside. Breakfast was on the healthy side. I selected Mediterrenean Omelette with one Oat Cake Pancake. I asked for whipped butter on my hot cake and got it but did not know to request Pancake Syrup as same did not come out with the Pancake. I remember from before syrup is not brought out but once you ask for it they'll bring Log Cabin (server referred to it as regular syrup). It was cold out and food tasted good. After syrup was brought, I did not see my server at my table again. That is, no checkup on me. Perhaps the cold late January air scared her away. I went inside to ask for the check and pay. 3 stars.

Three of us and the food, service and attitudes were all (5) Star. Menu has options not seen at other places and what we had were all well executed. Our new go to spot in Coral Springs. If you are 15 min from here, you need to make this your spot. Family owned and it shows.
