I found the Pork O’ Rican food truck at the Coral Springs Oktoberfest fest. My family is Puerto Rican, so I had to try some of their food. Their empanadas and bacalaitos were just like what I would have when my grandmother would come to visit! She is known for her cooking and their food was phenomenal! I can’t wait to find them at another event to try more.
Sorry this truck gives PR food a bad name. The rice isn't completely cooked, the beans are more like soup, the pork chunks(?) are tiny hard bits of unseasoned (not even salted) meat. What the hell?! Really folks this food is pretty bad...smh. So disappointed. It irks me to no end that people get away with charging for this crap. Shame on you for serving what you have to know is inferior food. And to call it Puerto Rican when our culture's food is normally richly flavorful...read full review
