Overall, not happy with the food was expecting 40 years of business was looking for a wow factor with the foodI drove an hour and a half from Miami I had the onion soup as an appetizer it taste as if it was just beef base little bit of onion soup i'm used to a rich, slow stock, cooking broth with a age, Swiss cheese. For my main course, I order prime rib, very tender, but very flavorless. Vegetables was on the plate just for color had no flavor at all. Overall restaurant is nice. Service was perfect

As always food and service was excellent. No better fillet mignon anywhere. Highly recommend this local restaurant. We sat in the piano room. Our request. It was a bit noisy. A heads up for those that prefer a quiet setting. It did not negatively affect our dining experience.

Another Fabulous night at Runyon's . Food perfect, our server was the best. The music by David John exceptional. Everything about our experience was amazing. It's such a warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend for any occasion.

I have been dining at Runyon's for 25 years. Last Saturday I had some sticker shock. French Onion soup was just plain, nothing special for $15! No Gruyere cheese, just plain bubblegum mozzarella. Overall, the experience was excellent as always. Just can't understand how they can charge $91 for a one-pound Maine lobster! Prime Rib at $68? I had a superb NY Strip Steak, but still at $64, the prices are just out of reach.

We had a reservation made through OpenTable, but there was no option or mention anywhere about needing to request the piano room. When we arrived, the host (unfortunately I didn't get his name — he seemed to be assisting the main host, possibly a manager) refused to seat us there, even though the hostess was fine with it. He insisted that because my reservation didn't specify the piano room, we couldn't be accommodated. I explained that there was no place for the piano room on open table and we had guests visiting from out of town and how disappointing this was, but he clearly didn't care — his response was basically “it is what it is.” He was dismissive and rude throughout the interaction. When we left, he didn't even thank us or say goodnight. We spent around $400 for dinner for four people, so my expectations for service were much higher. The server was fine, but the experience was completely overshadowed by the poor attitude and lack of professionalism from the gentleman at the front. Very disappointing overall.

We decided to try the happy hour in the bar and enjoyed the great half price cocktails. We then headed to the dining room to try the porterhouse for two, which was perfectly prepared and delicious. We will definitely be back.
Always an amazing experience. The bar area up front is high energy and the service is always amazing.
