Sun Yat is one of the best restaurants I've been to. The place is clean and has followed COVID-19 guidelines from the beginning. The portions of food they serve is amazing in relation to the price. You get great value there and the staff are very friendly. I find myself coming back to this place time and time again and they never disappoint. Thank you Sun Yat for the the amazing food!

I ordered the lunch special & one of the sons that takes orders & handles the register was very rude when I was paying. I've been ordering from here for as long as I can remember. The food is great but the customer service is slowly going downhill. Will think twice about going back again.

They have delicious hot and sour soup as well as bean curd Sichuan style!! Try them out I don’t think you’ll be disappointed..They’re way better than China Spring in the Riverside Plaza!! Don’t ever try there food it’s disgusting and a waste of your money!!!

The women who answers the phone seems to have a communication issue.But, she clearly understands when I repeat myself. Sometimes I give up and look into space because it's weird and quit interesting how she communicates. She doesn't answer questions and just assumes a question is the order ??? every time I call, it's the same scenario. It never fails ???Anyways, their food is fresh, hot, and DELICIOUS ?.

Been a while since I've done takeout from this place. The food is... fairly straightforward Chinese-American stuff. But they are practicing COVID protocols like it's no joke. Ordered on Postmates, paid in advance. You walk up, they've got the front door blocked and there is a pass through window. If you want to walk up you can, but they prefer contactless pre-arranged payments here. Kid is on order duty. Comments: They're out of fantail shrimp and the egg foo young gravy is the soy sauce cornstarch kind. Nobody makes the lighter colored flour/arrowroot and stock with sherry kind around here. Except Spikey Ty, but theirs is ultra gloppy and tastes weird. And they are letting everyone in their place to eat. Sigh. The peanut sauce the spicy (not really) wontons are in is really good mixed with the egg foo young sauce. If you're gonna put it on egg foo young, that is. But we recommend you drain it out of the container and mix it up in a bowl before tossing it with the wontons, because it's not premixed, the glop of peanut butter is just dumped on the top.

I ordered an egg drop soup with wonton and the wonton was raw and old food , and even smell badthe food tastes like it was cooked weeks ago and tastes really bad, we ordered a big bucket of pork rice. And the pork had 3 different colors and smelled bad. I won’t recommend itBe careful with this restaurant. They will make food from weeks ago.....
