Tarka Karahi and Kabab House

Wow the food quality dropped down, the chicken biryani is literally rice with turmeric. No whole spices only 3 pieces of chicken. You charge all this money and your quality is awful now and your portions of meat to sauce ratio is awful. I don’t know if it’s new ownership or what, never going back.

Worst Eid buffet ever. Was visiting from NY and thought we give it a try. No naans and when they did finally get it they were dry and not fresh. Food was cold. Limited menu with no drinks.

We had an exceptional dining experience at Tarka Restaurant in Coral Springs! The buffet dinner exceeded all expectations—beautifully presented, rich in variety, and bursting with authentic flavors.

From the tender tandoori selections to the perfectly spiced biryani and flavorful curries, every dish was thoughtfully prepared and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The naan was served warm and crisp, and the dessert section was a delightful finish—especially the creamy kheer and piping hot halwa.

The service was equally impressive. Staff were attentive, courteous, and genuinely welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout the evening.

Just wanted to share - spent almost $150 for to go order last night at Tarka. Extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. Biryani and mix grill platter was fine (although wasn’t the usual flavor) but the rest items were extremely disappointing. For Butter chicken and chicken tikka, it tasted like they made the two dishes from the canned tomato sauce and just threw in some spices!! Vegetable dishes were even worse. Veg korma was namesake and it was just a mix 2-3 random vegetables. Bhindi masala had no salt and half felt undercooked. Butter paneer was more like tomato masala paneer but was still better than the chicken dishes. It was embarrassing feeding that to my out of town guests after I spoke highly about this place. Why sell the vegetarian items not on the menu when you know you can’t deliver?
I have been a long time customer here and not
sure what changed! Won’t be going back anymore!

The food is awesome. If someone wants to taste authentic south asian food, this is your place. Coming from a harsh judge of foods!!

BEST Pakistani food in Coral Springs—or maybe ever. I was impressed with the food's flavor, quality, and authenticity. The atmosphere was very welcoming, and the staff was attentive and kind. I had the butter chicken and rice. My mouth is watering as I write this. I will be a repeat customer. I wish I had taken a picture of my meal, but I ate it too fast.

Typically with Pakistani restaurants, you only get to choose one of the following and they tend to be mutually exclusive of each other: service or good food. The issue with Tarka Karahi and Kabob house is that this wasn’t an ordinary Pakistani restaurant because I was surprised to receive great service and delicious food at the same time. Which again, is very rare for a restaurant of this category. Highly recommend the chicken biryani and mixed grill, and finishing off with chai. Will definitely sleep well after having dinner here.

I’m ordered chef’s special but it’s worse , too much salt and the waiters come and ask me to give them 5 star , she took my phone and do it by her self , it’s kinda awkward

The food was very good. I loved the seekh kebabs, fresh, spicy, and very juicy. The karahi was surprisingly delicious and very flavorful.
The service was very nice from the host. We ate during lunchtime and on a tuesday, so the place was pretty quiet.
Overall, I enjoyed my visit and recommend it to anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale.

Iftar Dinner at Tarka
The buffet had Veg pakoda, chilli chicken, some chat, naan, butter chicken masala, mixed bbq, chicken Biriyani, some vegetable masala, butter chicken masala, Beef Haleem, Water melon and Semiya pasam. Out of all Semiya payasam was the one I liked.
Earlier I have tried their Biriyani and Karahi as well. Food is average. Still I have given 4 star rating

Came from Philadelphia. Ran in to this restaurant was very good. Food was delicious. Prices were very cheap compare to others. Service was fantastic as well food came in less than 10 minutes.
