Outdoor seating area is completely covered in bird filth all the way into the corner of the section. Immediately triggered an asthma attack walking over to select a table after asking if we could be seated outdoors and was told someone would meet us outside. So disappointed that we could not enjoy the beautiful weather outdoors!

I had the lean corned beef platter - Excellent!! Generous portion, & a nice variety of sides. Very good iced teas as well.
Service was great and didn't feel at all rushed or 'hovered over.'
Tables were nicely spaced apart, too.

What a friendly and pleasant place to stop in for a meal. Krissy our waitress was so helpful and has a sweet personality. She suggested the Turkey Griller and boy was she right, super delicious. It came with mashed potatoes and they were also delicious (and I’m not a mashed potato kind of person). My husband had the pastrami sandwich, he ate the whole thing although his intention was to only eat half. Our first time here, definitely a ‘be-back’ !!!

I’ve been coming here for years. After moving away for college, Toojays chocolate layer cake is the one thing I always look forward to when I visit. As I always do, I came back, excited, to have my usual chicken noodle soup and slice of chocolate layer cake.

The chocolate layer cake is a completely different cake than it used to be. It’s lighter, has almost no flavor, and has completely different chocolate mousse filling and icing than it used to. I was extremely disappointed and can’t say I’ll be rushing to come back. My family has been coming less and less because the food and service has gotten worse and the prices have increased significantly, and they really only go when I’m in town but it’s looking like that might not be the case anymore.

Every time I come to Florida one of my first stops is Toojays. They have some of the best blintzes! But today I decided to get the matzo ball soup and my husband had the challah French toast. Both were exceptional! And I can't wait to go back tomorrow for my blintzes. Great corned beef as well
