I don’t think I’ve ever written a poor review before this one, but that’s probably because I like to research where I’m going to spend my hard earned dollars. Today I made a mistake. I went to the Seafood Shack on a whim. Conk fritters sounded good and they were on the menu. Plus I didn’t have to go very far in the blustery rain. Should have realized that things were not going to go very well when we entered a nearly empty waterfront restaurant at peak lunchtime. Then, they were out of conch fritters. Hmmm. Iced tea and dill pickle spears were excellent. Crab cake sandwich and Rueben were not. There could not have been a tablespoon of crab in the very skinny and pasty crab cake. It also had an odd smoky flavor, which the pastrami sandwich also had. (Cooked on the same grill with their smoked pork???) no taste of crab whatsoever, but I’m continuing to re-taste that smokiness. TMI? Definitely gross. Will not return.

Enjoyed the fried shrimp, coleslaw and Cuban. Drinks were good too. Definitely recommend the pina colada with run floater. I am a picky coleslaw eater. Was awesome. Made in house with pineapple.

Nice restaurant on a marina. Good views and the best crabcakes I've ever had! Attentive staff. Wanted to try the shrimp and grits that I saw on the online menu but they don't make them anymore. Chose the crabcakes and wasn't disappointed in the least.

Decided to try this one based the on the good reviews. They had a daiquiri drink special for $5.00, which was a great price! Kids got the virgin daiquiri and they loved it. I ordered the fish dip, which was homemade and very fresh! The Fisherman’s platter was really good, you can get it grilled, blackened or fried. I got it grilled, it came with 4 shrimp, a crab cake and a nice piece of Mahi Mahi. It also Included coleslaw and hush puppies. My wife got the Shrimp quesadillas and they were really tasty blackened. Overall the view was nice of the waterway and the service was really good.

Food was terrible. Hush puppies were burned, stuffed grouper and mussels were rubbery and could not have been fresh. Unfortunately service was poor as well. Had to ask for condiments twice and never received so had to eat without them.

Sad such a nice spot has two lousy bartenders. They could care less if you wanted something. Went for drinks with friends and planned on staying for food. Could hardly get our drinks and when asked for menus we were handed one for the four of us. Had lunch there two weeks ago. Sat outside and food and service by Tim was excellent. Suggested to friends and very disappointed. We are locals and will not be returning .

Went in with another couple during Happy Hour and sat at the bar. There were two girls working the bar and they were very inattentive. Had to wave them over whenever we wanted drinks and they acted like we were bothering them. Asked for menus and they gave us one for four people and never asked if we wanted to order anything. We left and will not return.
Never disappointed with the food at Seafood Shack. This time had fried oysters, they have the best slaw and great onion rignts.

Went in at lunch and sat at the bar. The young bartender ignored us until we left 15 minutes later. She pretty much ignored everyone, not sure how anyone got a beer. Too many choices in the area to go back to this one.

Came in for a light early dinner. The spicy clam chowder was the best clam chowder I’ve ever had! Perfect blend! Excellent crab cakes as well. Packed full of meat with little to no filler. Will definitely be back!

Nice atmosphere with background music and an excellent view. Food was delicious, I had Grouper bites & my husband had fish & chips. The waitress was very nice. Will be back next year hopefully.
