Visiting from Wisconsin. We ordered carne asada, eggs and chorizo, burrito, and enchiladas. Beverages were huge and the food portions large and delicious. We will be back to this authentic Mexican place!
As an out of towner, I was introduced to El Amigo and was blown away by the authentic Mexican food. The tacos al pastor were amazing—the homemade corn tortillas brought them together perfectly. And the guacamole was delicious! Prices were very reasonable and portions were generous. The woman who waited on us was kind and professional. Definitely returning!
It took a while to get acknowledged when we showed up, but then the food came out lickety-split. It was phenomenal and we / all had a great time and the people that dined there are rather kind. I strongly recommend rolling the dice on a meal there because it could be some of the best street tacos you ever had; that is if you haven't been to Manny's Tacos to Go in the parking lot of Nick's bar in Sarasota, Florida on Fridays & Saturdays.
