We always love Cracker Barrel. Today, the food was great and atmosphere was wonderful. We like to go to Cracker Barrel for breakfast before anyone of our adult children leave for their home. The only problem today was just a small bit of disorganization perhaps. We received our Eggs and meat and drinks, but one of our orders was missing the hash brown casserole and we had to ask for the biscuits and gravy that we’re supposed to come with the meal. Rhonda was our server and she was perfect! The hostess (Evangelina ?) wasn't having a good day. She didn't not greet us, I said "hi, 2 people ". She grabbed our menus & silverware,led us to the table. Set down the items& walked away, all without speaking to us... very uncomfortable situation. Food was great & brought our fairly quick.
Cracker Barrel exceeded our expectations! The catfish dinner was perfectly cooked—crispy outside, tender inside. The sides were delicious, and the service was warm and attentive.
