Made a reservation and took my son and two grandchildren there for Father's Day brunch. We were the first table to order. It took an hour to get 2 egg Benedicts and 2 waffle plates. The poached were hard boiled and the English muffins were cold and hard. Spent over $100 which included 2 bloody marys. We won't be going back.
I personally thought this place was very bad I ordered a burger with their homade beer cheese but it tasted like sink water the lady was nice enough to take it of the bill and gave me a regular cheese burger which was nice but the buns were burnt
Nice comfortable food. The staff was outstanding. Good job.
Service took FOREVER. We got there at 11:30 and didn’t get our food until almost 1 pm. We ordered appetizers and our kids food first and that took about 45 mins to come out. Our beignets were raw in the middle and we sent them back.
When we finally got our food (2 omelets, 2 orders of wings), everything except my wings were cold or lukewarm. They obviously had been sitting. Our friend ordered 12 wings and they disguised 3 chicken tenders as wings and never said anything until it was brought up. 12 wings cost $19 + $1 for the sauce and 3 of them weren’t even wings.
My husband ordered a beer that they had on their chalkboard menu and it took over 15 minutes just for them to come back and say they don’t have it.
Our server was kind, however the manager blew off our complaints stating they were busier than normal.
It was slightly busy however it shouldn’t have been unmanageable and it would have been appreciated if there was communication about the kitchen being backed up or something.
Food had good flavor, but at this point it wasn’t worth the money.
I've eaten here twice and so far, consistency is there. I had the reject burger which is amazing and the motherload fries which is a must!! I took pictures of my order but I dug in first 😋 So good!!
Service 0/5.
Waited 50 min for our food, during this time we had little to no server engagement or help. After 45 min we had to ask another waitress if she could check on our food. Food was dropped with no follow up to see how it was or if anything was needed. Glasses were stayed dry during our meal. No manager follow up to table even after the excessive wait. When the food finally came it was enjoyable, but unfortunately overshadowed by the poor service.

You are the best little gastropub I've been to in awhile. I like this place for dates especially as it's close to the highway, open seating, low-key. Food is phenomenal. Haven't been displeased yet. And I'm helping out a local small but kick ass business!!

Loved the individual serving me, I believe her name was kylee, I could be wrong I know she created a tamarind margarita to upsell to customers, she was interactive with the entire bar, cooks, and other coworkers and customers. Good standards all should follow that leads to my liking of the crooked tale. The food was hot and fresh, but it is a little heavy on the savory, creamy, hearty flavors , and I would love to see some other flavors incorporated to help bring the savory to another level. This is strictly consumer opinion, i would add some vinegar/ acidic flavors across the menu and some fresh sweetness to help the palate breathe.
the place is still fantastic, great vibe and atmosphere easilly 7.2/10

Probably one of THE BEST burgers I’ve had. I eat out about half the time. Burgers 2-3 times a month. And I have to say, this is the first place I’ve seen in a long time that when you order it medium, you get it medium. Great service as well.

Limited menu. I had a water, pretzel bites, and macaroni (Equivalent to 1 pretzel and a half cup of macaroni)
Bill was over $20. Asked the waitress for lemonade but she forgot to bring it.
Food wasn’t bad, just not worth the expense
NEVER ORDER TO-GO!!
Eating at the restaurant at least you get your money's worth with portion sizing. Ordering to-go, you will only receive about 1/2 - 1/3 the portion size for almost $20+ on a single meal, depending on what you order, which is absolutely not okay. Drinks are a tad overpriced too which was surprising. Do not recommend chips & salsa, chips are overly dry, waste of $7.
