Usually Desi's is 5☆ all around but not on this particular day when it came to the chicken being done. My mother is in the hospital and called me around 12:42pm wanting me to get her two thighs. I took them to her and she ate a few bites of one then showed me the rest of it all pink and red. I tore open the other one and the sane dad gum thing... pink and red on the inside. Never happened to me before. I won't let it deter me from going back because everything else was very good.

All you can eat Buffet in a small town. Its great if you're passing through. I went on a Tuesday which the menu wasn't a whole lot. Fried chicken was delicious 😋 I had tomatoes and rice * collard greens wasn't cooked very well nor seasoned. But eatable. The cornbread was fried and it wasn't done throughly kinda tasted like more dough. They had Lasagna not sure how it tasted because it looked to have a bunch of tomatoe Sauce & cheese. But I would like to go back on a Friday and Saturday with a large variety of food. Its very clean & spacious.

Ive been a fan of this restaurant for some time but finding out that one their workers is openly using slurs towards my friends im not okay with that. And looking thru holly barrow facebook they have some questionable captions on a picture “happy pride but im happy im straight” while standing in a church. Thats not very “christian” calling someone and their kid a racial slur deft isnt very godly. Sad to see in the big 2026.

If you want great home cooked food then you need to go to Desi’s. Some of the best fried pork chops I’ve had. Friendly staff and awesome deserts.
This is my favorite hometown, homecooked, homefeeling restaurant in town. I know the owners/operator’s of this place and they are excellent local folks. I love eating here and if you want true country style food, this is it.
Paid almost $40 for food I could get at a soup kitchen or eating lunch at my kids school. The AYCE doesn't justify the quality.
