Usually Desi's is 5☆ all around but not on this particular day when it came to the chicken being done. My mother is in the hospital and called me around 12:42pm wanting me to get her two thighs. I took them to her and she ate a few bites of one then showed me the rest of it all pink and red. I tore open the other one and the sane dad gum thing... pink and red on the inside. Never happened to me before. I won't let it deter me from going back because everything else...
All you can eat Buffet in a small town. Its great if you're passing through. I went on a Tuesday which the menu wasn't a whole lot. Fried chicken was delicious 😋 I had tomatoes and rice * collard greens wasn't cooked very well nor seasoned. But eatable. The cornbread was fried and it wasn't done throughly kinda tasted like more dough. They had Lasagna not sure how it tasted because it looked to have a bunch of tomatoe Sauce & cheese. This is my favorite hometown, homecooked, homefeeling restaurant in town. I know the owners/operator’s of this place and they are excellent local folks. I love eating here and if you want true country style food, this is it.
