This was my first time at Desi's. My folks are regulars and talked it up. The restaurant has a large dining room with a 50s look soda counter. Buffet style with lots of choices and a salad bar. I enjoyed meatloaf, mashed potatoes with gravy, Lima beans and black eyed peas. The food was excellent especially the meatloaf! Service is hit or miss at buffets but this was exceptional today. I ordered coffee and Desi brought two cups when needed. The dessert bar had many...
Classic southern food. Easily the best mac and cheese I've ever had. Deserts are also absolutely astounding.
Don't let the line scare you when you get there; it moves quick and everyone is extremely polite.

The best buffet in NW Florida! Not just Okaloosa county. They have a delicious variety of fresh, homemade country vegetables and it changes every day. Higly recommend and it is reasonably priced.
