I’m the husband of the woman who wrote this review. Your response calling my wife a liar and a ‘Karen’ is completely out of line and very unprofessional.
My wife did exactly what any reasonable customer and parent would do: she found what appeared to be insects in her food, brought it to your staff’s attention, and asked for a refund or a replacement. Instead of handling that concern with basic respect, she was met with rudeness in the restaurant, and now with name-calling and accusations online.
You are free to disagree about what was in the rice, but you are *not* free to attack her character because she raised a food-safety concern and chose to warn others. A professional business owner addresses issues calmly, apologizes that a guest had a bad experience, and moves on—he doesn’t insult customers, minimize their concerns, or mock them in public.
We stand by what she wrote. Your response says far more about how you view and treat your customers than anything in her review. Speaking about my wife that way is unacceptable, and I won’t tolerate it.

The owner and staff are super amazing. They greet you in the most respectful manner & always have a smile and the food is always on point. I adore them.

Although the food was excellent and the staff is always great when I come in I will not order online ever again as they add on a 18% tip fee the food is already expensive and I have to drive and pick up my food and there's no one having to take care of me or clean up after me so I will use another Thai restaurant in the area for carry out services and they give no Discounts for seniors or veterans God bless everybody.

Unsanitary Food and Disrespectful Staff – Avoid This Place
I ordered food here and found rice weevils 🐛 in the rice. When I brought it to the attention of the manager and asked for a refund, I was rudely denied. I then politely asked if I could get a replacement meal instead, and was denied again.
What shocked me even more was the disgusting look the woman gave me — as if I didn’t know what rice was. She even asked if I was Asian, saying I “should know what rice looks like.” Not only was that completely inappropriate and racist, but I’m *not even Asian*. And just to clarify: you don’t need to be Asian to recognize what clean rice is, or to know the difference between food and bugs.
This behavior is highly unprofessional and unacceptable — especially in front of my child. It’s basic food safety to know that insects like rice weevils are not meant to be served, yet the staff treated it like it was normal. If they are okay eating bugs in their food, I’m not.
The way I was treated — with rudeness, ignorance, and disrespect — is shameful. As paying customers, we deserve clean food and respectful service, not condescending attitudes and possible health risks.
I will never return, and I strongly encourage others to inspect your food carefully if you do decide to eat here. I hope this helps others stay alert. No one deserves to be treated this way.
