The food was delicious! Really enjoyed the fried oysters and shrimp. The hush puppies were really good also. Everything was fresh and the staff was friendly and helpful.
I ordered fried oysters, seasoned ff's and baked beans. I believe it was the Oysters that made me throw up a few times later that night. They were tasteless. The beans were very spicy. The fries weren't cooked or seasoned
I got the fried Mahi sandwich. Mahi is my favorite fish ( I’ve eaten a lot of it ) and I don’t even know what this sandwich was. It was a few small pieces of brown fried fish. Maybe fish scraps and trimmings. I don’t know. It wasn’t a filet of Mahi like you would normally expect and get elsewhere. The coating tasted funky, like it was old and burnt. I have to say it was the worst fish sandwich I have ever had. I only ate half and gave up. The hush puppies were good.
first time here and was really impressed with the freshness and food. I had fish coleslaw and hushpuppies. I was shocked how eating the fried hush puppies didn't make me feel yucky like most fried foods. I think they do a good job with their ingredients and cooking.
