Square Grouper Bar and Grill

First time there was yesterday just stopped in for a beer just to check it out. It was OK.

The square grouper is my go to for any occasion. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and loved it all!

There is no finer food in the keys than the square grouper. Get there before 4:20. There’s gonna be a line. The food is outstanding.

The Square Grouper Bar and Grill at Cudjoe Key is a top notch place to stop by and drink and eat. The food is exquisite! Clean, flavorful and top of the line. The staff at professional and efficient. Kenny is 10/10 and so is the food. This is one of our mandatory stops every time we come to the keys. Great atmosphere and and even better food.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I wasn’t expecting much when I walked in, but I ended up being genuinely impressed by how good everything was. The food was packed with flavor, and you could really tell it was made with care and fresh ingredients. We started with a few appetizers, and even those were surprisingly good. Each one came with a delicious sauce that really brought everything together—I honestly didn’t expect the starters to be that impressive, but they definitely were. The main dishes were just as great, and the sangria was easily the highlight of the night. I’ve had sangria at a lot of places, but this one was on another level—perfectly mixed, super refreshing, and now officially my favorite. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. Prices were very reasonable for the quality we got. This place was such a pleasant surprise. I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending it to friends. Totally worth a visit!

We heard this was the best place on Cudjoe Key so we went. Food did not disappoint. I had the shrimp cake appetizer…very tasty, the dipping sauce was awesome. I also had an Asian salad (which I did not eat, more on that later) finally I had the avacado and ahi eggrolls also very good. My husband had the jasmine rice bowl with mixed grilled seafood. All very good but be aware the mixed in the menu says shrimp, scallops, fish…be aware the ‘s’ on the scallops is obviously a typo, my husband got scallop, yes, just one and the dish was $46. Back to the Asian salad…it looked very good but the kitchen sent out all of our food at once. I ate the hot food and never went back to the salad. It’s a shame because everything else was top notch. Hey square grouper…when people are spending $50+ per person don’t give them the bums rush. We wanted to enjoy our meal. It was not crowded at all so no need to send us packing so quick. I would definitely give them another chance as the food is good and nice atmosphere. And in they did take the salad off the bill when I asked.

Wonderful food and drinks but even better was the incredible service from Anna! Can’t wait to come back and see her again!

We had an amazing dining experience at Square Grouper, thanks in large part to our server, Kenny. He was incredibly attentive from start to finish—friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough in explaining the menu. His recommendations were spot on, and every dish we ordered was absolutely incredible. The flavors were fresh, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. Great service and outstanding food—can’t wait to come back!

Great brisket ravioli dish. Goldentile fish was superb. Jessica our waitstaff was great. Great atmosphere. Great music. Luv our booth section we sat in. Vibes were real.

Stopped to get a fast bite to eat but that is not happening very slow to take oder and get food so if you're not in a hurry great place for ya

Been wanting to go to square grouper for a while but scared off by lines and no rez. My wife and I walked in and a couple was just leaving from bar, lucky us. Kenny the bartender delivered two amazing martinis and the night was on . Salad , shrimp, snapper were all amazing. Worth the wait if you have to. Great service. Will be back.

Great meal. Nice, informative staff. Had black grouper salad, A delicious lychee cocktail and the most delicious carrot cake with caramel ice cream.
