Still amazing service. Still amazing food at an incredible price. Breathtaking water. You can take your partner or your family. A reliably fantastic experience. My only regret is that I did not get the name of the guy who served us. I kept drinking a lot of water but he was always willing to refill and meet any accommodations for us.

Came in for a girls lunch expecting a good time with a great view, server with no introduction says “yall know what you want”. Checked up on us twice in an hour and half. Everyone but our server accommodated us. We had to search for our own table condiments from other tables. Didn’t offer us drinks either. No hospitality at all, server proceeds to find us outside and flick us off. Older woman in dolphins tank top working behind the bar.

Pretty great local bar and restaurant for American and seafood. Went here after a morning in Biscayne National Park. Server was very friendly and the drinks were great too. Definitely recommend the conch fritters!

I've been here several times over the last few years. Food has been decent each time. No real complaints on that side. If you go when they're not busy the service is great and quick. If you go when it's busy it can be a long time for anything. Hopefully they are on the upward trend!

Parking: Limited spots close to restaurant entrance but there is plenty of parking in the marina.

Party of 5 on a rainy day. Service and food were mediocre. 1 order was 20 minutes after the entire party finished eating. The server Julias hit us with a 18% gratuity even though the menu says gratuity is included with a party of 8.
Tip is earned not guaranteed. We had to ask for water several times and found the server sitting at another table while we waited for drinks.
Unacceptable service on a slow day.

The salad greens, tartar sauce and dressing were warm and shouldn’t be served like that especially in this heat. Salad should have been served chilled; took one bite and that was enough for me, nope! The Ahi Tuna Steak Sandwich was grilled and was served not looking cooked on all sides. I had the server take it back to the kitchen to be grilled more. Just disappointed and my last time going there with my family.

I ordered the mussels l, you can tell those were forcely thaw probably microwave , they came is a pool of dark nasty water without any flavor, probably the melted ice water, they were topped with garlic and onions, not even the toast was decent. We let our waiter know, and he could not care less, service was horrible. We used to like this place but the food and the service is just not the same, too sad because the location is very nice .

You have to know about the culture before you come here. Service is not Florida's strong suit. Things are about as fast-paced and responsive as the pelicans that loiter the signage of the parking lot, which is a great anology for the service. It's not downright disrespectful, but it is incredibly laid back.

Upon entering, nobody greeted us. Had to walk up to a group of gentlemen watching TV by the bar and asked them if they worked here - they did and, with all nonchalance, told us to find a seat. We did and waited approximately 15 mins for a menu, while about 5 people who worked there watched TV.

Eventually, we met our waitress, who was working hard, she was helpful, we didn't have to wait too long for the food. Got to enjoy some dolphins swimming near the restaurant while we ate.

My dad comes here regularly and always orders the blackened dolfin sandwich. We also tried the crunchy fried grouper and conch fritters. Everything was really good. The conch fritters were 10/10. Crunchy fried grouper was everything you'd expect from a fried fish sandwich and bonus it was super crunchy and not greasy at all. Hats off to the chef.

The sweet tea is SWEET. Would definitely adjust that.

All in all, don't let the bad reviews or the owners' conspiracy theory of the reviews deter you from stopping by. I'm proud this place is still open as someone who grew up coming as a kid. Will come again soon.

I recently dined at Black Point Ocean Grill and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that customer service was not a priority. We were neither greeted nor seated promptly, leaving us to wait aimlessly at the entrance.

Once we were finally seated, it took an unreasonably long time for a server to approach our table. The delay in service was unacceptable and set a negative tone for the rest of our meal. When our orders were finally taken, I opted for the churrasco, which was overpriced considering the quality that was eventually delivered. The steak arrived well-done, contrary to my request for medium-rare, and the sides were clearly not fresh, appearing as if they had been hastily thawed from a freezer.

Adding to the frustration, the outdoor bartender on the lower level floor was more interested in socializing with his friends than attending to patrons. Despite walking back and forth multiple times with a stroller, we were completely ignored in our efforts to find a suitable place to sit.

Overall, the restaurant failed on multiple fronts: poor customer service, subpar food quality, and inattentive staff. I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience and suggest looking elsewhere for a dining establishment that values its customers.

(Shrimp scampi was decent)
