Warning! I was eating beef lo mein from Grand China and felt a crunch twice... when I spit out the food I found a piece of GLASS! This is my first time with an issue from this restaurant, but it's enough to make it my last time ordering.

Hands down the best Chinese food for miles. I never expected it, it doesn't look like much from the outside but it os very very good and reasonably priced, considering the quality. We get food from here at least once a month and have never been dissapointed. I've never written a review and it's so unexpectedly good that I had to go out of my way and write a review

Haven't been here since I was a teenager! Food still good, portions can be shared. I had the sweet and sour chicken & Steven brought me honey and the chicken was awesome with it!

This is my go to Chinese food restaurant when I'm in Miami. To go only. However, the portions are good and the food is good! I have never had an issue with service; they are pretty good with being manner-able.

Food was good but the place has been shut down by the health department, many violations in the past as well.

I have been doing take out from this restaurant for quite a while. It's consistently good but today was absolutely amazing! Maybe new chef? The food was so fresh and flavorful!! Ordered orange chicken and general tso's and it was incredible. Everyone in my family including my 2 year old (who can be a picky eater sometimes) had something good to say about the food. I also really appreciate how the food is always so well packaged -big orders are neatly arranged in a box. This is my go-to local Chinese place and after today, you better believe it will stay that way!

Family owned business since before Andrew! You can no longer dine in, it's closed off, but the food is surprisingly homey which is a great change from the cookie cutter Chinese we always seem to get here. You can taste the fresh ginger amongst the other fresh ingredients in the wonton soup and the steamed dumplings. The cabbage that comes with the dumplings is a nice touch! The chicken wings are beyond crispy and moist- scrumptious. Not a huge fan of the bone in ribs but that's just me. Definitely making this my go to Chinese spot.

OKKKKK! FINE!!!! I'll try it!! Me arguing with myself (and winning) after reading some inspiring comments. SUCCESS!! My order: vegetable fried rice, egg roll, mandarin chicken wings, Mongolian beef. Pros: Everything definitely tasted fresh. And they spiced it up with some common sense....how, you ask? The geniuses packed the sauce for the chicken wings separately rather than let me receive soggy disgusting wings. That was really great. Rice didn't skimp on the veggies. The wings were awesome; with and without the sauce. Cons: my only one is that the beef was a little chewy. It tasted great, fresh, and flavorful.. but a little chewy. Think: skirt/churrascó steak when the last layer of membrane isn't peeled before throwing on the grill (btw, don't expect skirt steak) Will I order again? Absolutely. Hope this helps and Buen Provecho !

In the words of Simon Cowell " It's a no for me" Recently my go-to Chinese restaurant closed. It was sudden and if I'm being dramatic a little heartbreaking. I'm not sure if it was due to the pandemic but just like that, it was the end of an era for Gold China. Naturally I'm searching to fill my weekend takeout void. On to Grand China... I actually ended up ordering because a former employee of my usual restaurant recommended it. I knew it wouldn't be my usual but I was completely open to putting aside comparisons and experiencing new flavors. We went with a pretty basic order Soups (Wonton , Egg Drop and Hot & Sour) Egg rolls, Mandarin Hot Wings, Honey Garlic Chicken, and Beef Fried Rice. My wonton soup was overly salty - it had nothing going for it and it seemed to be so salted to create some semblance of "flavor". No added Chinese veggies were found in this soup just salty broth & 3 dumplings. The egg drop however was very good - nice flavor and a normal amount of MSG. The Egg rolls were thin and crispy and tasted a little like old frying oil. Not a fan. The Mandarin chicken wings were a nice size had an okay flavor but too fatty and not at all crispy. The beef fried rice was once again too salty and skimped out on the veggies/eggs. The best thing was the Honey Garlic Chicken - I liked that the garlic honey was served on the side rather than poured all over. The chicken itself isn't too crispy and thankfully it also wasn't soggy and I did enjoy it. Overall, I would say the prices for portion are good but then again the quality and flavor of the food could have been much better (It felt almost like buffet quality). Like I said, the order was pretty basic... if you can't get a standard wonton soup down I'm not impressed. My search continues...

This place is my preferred one. I go to plenty of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The crew is very chummy and the cuisine they place on your table is so flavorful. I never decline to have a decent dinner in this place. I highly recommend this place.
