A party of 5 (the only table in the restaurant) when we walked out the employee just looked up from his phone and went back to his screen like nothing happened. Very sad. Feel bad for the owner.

We have been going and ordering take out from Felipe for years, even when it was Sal's. They have excellent service when dining in and also when ordering take out. We have always found the food to be fresh, delicious and with generous portions. We recently had a birthday celebration at our house and decided to try their catering and ordered lasagna and Felipe's house salad, which is a favorite. We were very pleased with the meal, and received a lot of compliments on their lasagna, lots of meat and ricotta, simply delicious. Their house bread has always been a hit too. I honestly can say that we've never had a dish that we did not like, from their pizza, salads, bread, Italian dishes, it's all been excellent!

This was not the first time at Felipe, we had been there before, for Pizza which were very good. This restaurant is inside the SouthLand Mall close to the Regal Cinema facing US1. We ordered from what they call the Sunset Menu which runs 4-6pm, it includes entree, salad, soft drink and gelato for a great price, and they also have a deal on Groupon for added savings. We had the Chicken Parmagiana and the Linguine White Clam Sause, both very tasty and plentiful. This is a terrific family Italian resturant, I would recomment to friends.

ONLINE ORDERING ONLY?!?!? We have been eating a Filipe's pizza for a few years now. We have been ordering pizza delivery. It is a bit more expensive, but we like the taste of the pizza and the customer service WAS good. During COVID we tipped the drivers extra and even picked up our pizza the days they had no delivery driver. Well - this all changed this past Saturday. I called in to place a delivery order, the girl on the line told me they were now ONLY accepting online orders for delivery. I explained I was driving at the moment but wanted to order and if she could just take it over the phone - she said not. So I called my husband and although he wasn't pleased, he went online to place an order. He likes black olives and we have ordered that plenty of times before via the phone... there was no option to add that to his pizza online. So he called the store. The girl that answered the phone told me that they were ONLY accepting online orders for delivery. He explained that there was no option for black olives online. She said too bad he had to place the order online. Well... the customer service now IS HORRIBLE. I didn't mind paying the extra price (almost $30 for a pizza) as long as the food was good and the service was good. He hung up and placed an order with Papa Johns... who was more than happy to take our order via the phone.

I try to support this local restaurant but there always seems to be a problem. This time I ordered from Slice. There was a long black hair in my fries. Why aren’t your employees wearing hair nets? It’s a small sacrifice to make not to lose customers.

The pizza was not fresh. I was very disappointed. I placed the order for pick up. The pizza was ready when I got there. It was only two people sitting in the dining room. So it was not that busy. But it appeared as if the cheese pizza had been sitting there for a while and they just added the pepperoni and threw it back in the oven to reheat. That was unacceptable. The cheese pizza tasted like school cafeteria pizza. I don't think I will be going back to this place.

One of the best Italian restaurants in this area. High quality foods and never busy. I would hate to see this place go out of business, Filipe’s is a must, and it will never disappoint.

Love the brick oven pepperoni pizza! It was deliciously seasoned and full of cheese, best pizza! I also had the meatballs they were bland and dry, didn't like them, the tomato sauce was needed seasoning! But the bread and Caesar salad were delicious.

We like a lot to go out. Yesterday we arrived in this superb restaurant which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a delightful evening there with high-qulity food and an efficient stuff and a distinguished chef. We added this restaurant in our phone list and we will certainly come back soon. We warmly recommend.
