Pinecrest Bakery - Cutler Bay

Ordered breakfast online 10 minutes prior to my arrival. Once arrived I had to wait, which is no problem, yet I noticed they only had 1 out of the 5 food started/grabbed.
When unsatisfied with the temperature of one of the sandwich’s, I was just replied with “Thats how it’s made here, next time put it in the comments”. Which ironically enough they didn’t follow my comment for the second sandwich, which stated to put the croquetas inside my sandwich.

Once again I asked for it to be heated, only find out later they only ever so slightly toasted the outside; the middle was cold.

I love Pinecrest Bakery but the customer service here was not ideal.

Food is great, workers having too much conversation amongst each other while are customers in line. Doesn’t look good. Better to just order thru Uber eats

Well I ordered through uber eats and the order was incomplete and they didn’t provide utensils. 20 dollars an incomplete order. Amazing work guys.

Long wait at 445pm. Barely anyone inside, was standing there for almost 10 mins no help. Walked out.

Horrible attitude and bad pan con bisctec. :(

I ordered a pan con queso crema tostado, and it arrived cold. I also ordered a café con leche evaporada and clearly included special instructions on how I wanted it prepared — but it seems like those instructions were either completely ignored or they simply didn’t care enough to follow them.

To make things worse, I ordered a pastel de guayaba, and instead received a few mini pastelitos, also cold. I’m sure the staff wouldn’t enjoy eating cold food, so why serve it that way to a paying customer?

If the employees don’t want to be there, they shouldn’t be — it reflects poorly on the bakery and ruins the experience for loyal customers.

On the 1st day of the new year, all we wanted was croquetas and empanadas. Order a dozen which were cold and they put the wrong empanadas in the bag and also were cold. The place is also so unkept. Sadly this is the worst location that Pinecrest Bakery.

Placed a pickup order on uber. App said it was ready, stayed there 30m waiting with a kid in the car. Staff admitted to being severely understaffed. People came in and left cause they were tired of waiting. I told them to cancel the order and the lady said she couldn’t do anything for me and complained it was just her and 1 other girl there working..

What happened to bakeries? When did they start fleecing people?? A couple of egg sandwiches, up charges for tomatoes and potato sticks, of which neither had. Soggy pastries. Bland empanada. No drinks or anything special, and it was almost $70! Absolutely ridiculous! To say we won’t be going back, is an understatement. Service was acceptable. Location was clean. Food quality simply wasn’t what it should’ve been. I tipped well because of the holidays, despite having to correct for items that were poorly handled. Pastries were being crushed with the tongs, because of the attendant rushing to complete the order. Had to ask her several times to exchange the items grabbed.
Disappointed.
