I ordered delivery from here and can sincerely say it's been the worst chinese food I've ever tried. The bourbon chicken was old, dry, hard and hardly edible....it's appearance was that of a hard chewy dog treat. The rice was not flavorful and the egg rolls were very dry. I'm upset that I wasted my money on this unacceptable food.... never again smh

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars — A True Hidden Gem in Cutler Bay
From the moment you walk through the doors of Takee Outee, you can feel it immediately: this is not just another Chinese restaurant — this is a place built on heart, family, tradition, and genuine love for what they do.
The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and comforting. You’re greeted with kindness, respect, and smiles that feel sincere, not forced. It feels like stepping into a family kitchen that just happens to serve some of the best Chinese food in South Florida.
Takee Outee is proudly family-owned, and you can see that pride in every detail. Jin, his wife, his mother-in-law, and their entire family run this place with passion, humility, and integrity. They treat customers like extended family, not transactions. That alone sets them apart in today’s world.
Now let’s talk about the food — because it’s on another level.
Their soups are rich, comforting, and full of depth. You can taste the freshness in every spoonful. Whether it’s egg drop soup, wonton soup, or hot & sour, everything tastes like it was made with care and patience, not rushed.
The appetizers are always hot, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. Egg rolls, crab rangoons, wings, dumplings — all consistently excellent.
When it comes to main dishes, Takee Outee truly shines. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are bold without being overpowering. Classics like General Tso’s Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Orange Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Pepper Steak, Lo Mein, Fried Rice, and Chow Mein are all executed beautifully. Nothing tastes greasy or artificial. Everything tastes real, balanced, and satisfying.
Vegetable dishes are fresh and vibrant. Seafood dishes are cooked just right. Chicken is always tender. Beef is never tough. Pork is flavorful. It’s the kind of consistency that only comes from experience and high standards.
Their menu has something for everyone — meat lovers, seafood lovers, vegetarians, and picky eaters alike.
Another huge reason this place deserves recognition: their delivery service.
The delivery is fast, reliable, and professional. Food arrives hot, well-packaged, and on time. The driver is always friendly, respectful, and positive — the kind of person who makes your day better just by showing up with your food and a smile. That level of care matters.
Takee Outee is the kind of place you can order from once and immediately know: “This is going to be my regular spot.”
In a world where so many places cut corners, Takee Outee does the opposite. They honor tradition, value customers, respect their craft, and operate with love.
If you’re in Cutler Bay or anywhere nearby and you’re craving real, authentic, consistently great Chinese food — this is the place.
Support family-owned businesses. Support people who care. Support Takee Outee.
Highly recommended. Forever a loyal customer.

Recently the quality of the food has gone to hell. This used to be our go to Chinese spot. Kids wanted Chinese so I reluctantly ordered

Mad gross. General Tso tasted like fish. Egg rolls were under cooked. Just no. I hope management reads this and fixes it.

Food is really bad. Nice people but the food is just horrible. Had the special fried rice. Was horrible. Day old rice and one shrimp? It had a old smell to it. Yuk

Quality of the food has gone down significantly. The honey chicken is breading with barely any chicken, the portion also has been halved from before. They used to give you a full size take out container for the order of chicken now it’s the half sized ones… the fried rice was super dry and a yellow color I was looking forward to some yummy Chinese food instead I received a giant disappointment

Consider this a shot across the bow. If you try to switch my wings for more rice again instead of giving me what I actually ordered, I won’t just leave a review—I’ll have every person in my household leave one too. You shouldn't have someone answering the phone who insists on changing customers’ orders. The same thing happened last week with her pushing combos. If we don't ask for it, don’t make the change. It honestly feels like you’re doing it to increase profit—swapping wings for cheaper rice.

I've been a loyal customer for over 15 years, but this was the worst experience I've had. I ordered honey garlic chicken wings for my wife's birthday—something I’ve ordered countless times. But the person taking the order decided I should get a combo instead. I did not want a combo. I just wanted the wings.

What really pushed me to leave this review was how the manager handled it—rude, dismissive, and blaming me instead of fixing the issue. If the manager had handled it with basic professionalism, I wouldn’t be writing this. But here it is, and I’ll let it sit for a few days to make sure the message is received: do not change customers’ orders without their consent.

i love family a... boneless ribs to die for.

I don't know if they're under new management or what but ever since they changed the family bundle, it's not the same.

Takee Outee was my go to, to feed our family of 10. Every one got what they wanted.
Bucket of fried rice
10 wings
Boneless ribs
Honey Chicken
2liter soda.

For years I ordered the same thing, I didn't even care for the price increase but when they changed it, that was the final straw. It's sad because we were loyal customers.

Haus Patino

What an excellent place to visit when dining on a budget. Excellent prices, generous portions and very tasty food. I had the Szechuan beef and it was very flavorful with ingredients being fresh. Only two seats to dine in, but who needs that when you have plenty of parks in the area where you can sit down and enjoy a picnic. I recommend this place for those who are on a budget and are looking for tasty filling food.
