The food here is great. It just takes forever to get it. The kitchen is super slow. An hour after we ordered bacon and eggs we still didn’t have it. They weren’t super busy either. The owner is the only cook I think and he’s disorganized and slow. They need to hire kitchen help and get the owner out of the way of his own business. The waitresses are nice and attentive but also get frustrated by how slow the kitchen is. Today he was trying to both cook and wait tables and not doing well at either.

I literally cannot believe that we just spent an hour waiting for our breakfast to finally have to tell them we just have to leave. There was only four tables in the restaurant, including ours. One was eating almost done. The other two were still waiting on their food and there when we arrived There’s literally no food that is worth sitting waiting for an hour for they won’t even busy so now we smell like bacon we’re hungry and we ended up just paying for our drinks. The worst if you have your whole day to waste, feel free to try this place out, but if you’re trying to eat and get about your day, this is not the place!

Very slow, even though there wasn’t many people. Served dishes one by one. The first and last person got served in a 30 minute difference. Food was very bland. They were out of most things on their menu.

We decided to go here while waiting on our pet during her grooming appt. I needed to be close, so when we got the call to pick her up, we could get there quickly.
It's a cute little place. Seems popular with the locals. It was a bit loud as far as the customers went. The cook in an open kitchen was much quieter 😆 the seating arrangement makes it a bit too close for comfort for me. Not because of the spread of germs. Tbh, I'm not thar worried because germs will be where they'll be. It was the noise level for me. We had women sitting behind us on one side & a lady with her toddler on the other. There wouldn't generally be an issue. As there were several other customers also sitting around us. It was just having these particular tables of people with as loud as they were being. Which is no fault of the diner. I just know next time where to sit 😃
The menu has a good variety on it. A little something for everyone.
My husband had a cheeseburger with fries & coleslaw. He very much enjoyed his meal. I tasted 1 fry, and honestly, it was perfect. True diner fries.

I ordered a breakfast plate with a cheese omelet, grits, and side of hash browns. Which believe me....it was all really good....in the moment 😆 I'll be the 1st to sat though. If your gut can handle the grease. You'll do just fine. Myself, I've suffered from gut issues now for several years, so if you don't have those issues. I applaud you 👏 I begin eating healthier, so as soon as i ear something that isn't. It's a wrap for a few days. Best believe I suffered a few days afterward. So just know that as food as the food is.... if you have a sensitive stomach. Just go as clean as you can with what's offered. But doesn't that defeat the purpose of a diner😊
Otherwise, the place was clean. There was one cook, one waitress. The cook actually delivered my food. Which I thought was really nice of him.
He appears to cook everything fresh, and that seems to be why it takes some time for the food to get to you. The waitress is super sweet and appears to work very hard. The bathroom was also clean as we went in upon arriving to wash our hands.

All in all, I have to say I would recommend this little diner. The cook did an excellent job on the food (prefer less grease for me, but it works for others) the waitress was wonderful. The variety of customers ranged from younger folks to seniors. Minus the few very noisy customers, it was otherwise not bad at all. The decor is cute. Has a "classic" feel to it. I'm sure if I were a local in this area. I have to stop by from time to time.
Oh yea! They have old time milk shakes! No, I didn't get to enjoy one but maybe we can get back that way for one soon.
