OK so I have been coming to this location for as long as I can remember, I even worked here in the 90s. The last three times the tea has gotten progressively worse. Today I was handed what looked like sprite. Captain Ds has been known for its sweet Tea forever!!! This sugar water your passing off as tea is horrible. I ordered a gallon a few months ago and returned it promptly because it resembled dirty water. Whatever you guys have done UNDO it and go back to making it the right way. I'm going back to get my lobster rolls tomorrow but sadly if the tea doesn't improve it will probably be my last visit, when you are known for something for as long as you guys are you don't screw it up. Please, please fix this.

The wife and I had dinner this evening at Captain D's. The young lady that took our order was super nice and even brought the meals to our table. The fish, fries and hush puppies were all fresh and hot. The dining room was clean and well stocked. This was our first visit to Captain D's in Dade City and we WILL be back.

The meals are absolutely pathetic for the amount of money that they charge you. And then they charge you for macaroni and cheese or okra.

The young lady who took my order was an absolute delight! She only eats the chicken so didn't have a ton to offer when asked about seafood options but we both laughed and had fun with it. She was awesome! The food was the best you can expect for $9. I will be back. Thanks captain d!

We got home and opened our side order of Green beans. The container wasn't big to begin with then the only filled it up half. Dissatisfied. The food is good but paying over $30 dollars for a (family meal). No I don't think so. Service was courteous, they just need to give you your money's worth.

Sad to say that I will be boycotting Captain D's in Dade City forever. They fire great workers because they are lesbian and keep managers that smoke pot in the store throughout their shift. Discrimination has no place in our town .
