They have really good food and having a calm service and I was more shocked but be careful those who are allergic to seafood because they have fish and lots of seafood.

I hate to do this but we bought 2 of the new specials and an appetizer total $29.18 with a 20% tip. The drink never came. The food was extremely greasy and the shrimp appetizer was hard. Terrible experience. And everything was cold. Most of the dinners went into the garbage. Sadly we will not return again.

My husband and I come here frequently but today I had the most helpful young man named Joshua who told me about the senior specials and because of that we will be able to dine here more often 😁 not very many places still have senior discount day anymore. Captain D's is the best!

Dining area can use a deeper cleaning, including dusting light fixtures. and your drink station needs attention. needs cleaned and wiped down. when do you actually take it all apart, and wash it through? that should be done often! some of your tables need to be adjusted, they shake too much.your simple fix of paper under the tables , are pure laziness. work as a team, Noone wants to hear( it's not my job) that's what makes Captain D's worth coming too.

Good food, heard it was fried in tallow, the quality of the food has slowly downgraded so they’ve got to get to work with that, service is amazing and the atmosphere is like basicly being a hometown fish diner. would recommend if you want some quick fish and chips as they use Alaskan pollock

Every time I order the Cajun Catfish Sandwich meal Combo, I never receive my drink with my meal, and it's disappointing.

Its better than average fish and fries. My wife insisted on a baked potato and I thought that was going to come out badly because if held a while can easily seem yuk. Surprisingly it seemed very freshly cooked.

OK so I have been coming to this location for as long as I can remember, I even worked here in the 90s. The last three times the tea has gotten progressively worse. Today I was handed what looked like sprite. Captain Ds has been known for its sweet Tea forever!!! This sugar water your passing off as tea is horrible. I ordered a gallon a few months ago and returned it promptly because it resembled dirty water. Whatever you guys have done UNDO it and go back to making it the right way. I'm going back to get my lobster rolls tomorrow but sadly if the tea doesn't improve it will probably be my last visit, when you are known for something for as long as you guys are you don't screw it up. Please, please fix this.

The fish, fries and hush puppies were all fresh and hot. The dining room was clean and well stocked. This was our first visit to Captain D's in Dade City and we WILL be back.
