Attempted to make an order over the phone, person on the phone was very brash and rude. I'm not a regular customer who knows the menu and was asking questions to make a pickup order. She hung up on me in the midst of our conversation. Called back to ask her why she got mad and hung up. She still was rude, no customer service skills. Acted like she didn't care about what happened just justifying what she did. I don't raise my voice at restaurant/ service workers but this one caused me to raise it a notch. I was an unstressed, unbothered person before I got on the phone with her. It was an out of the ordinary incident. Not sure what was going on with her before I called. Irregardless, I will never attempt to order from them again.This encounter flustered me.

This was a horrible experience for my husband and I. I don’t even like Chinese food and we have not even eaten the food. This review is purely based on service or the lack thereof. We ordered almost $80 worth of food for a few people. When we received the food my husband checked to ensure accuracy. Unfortunately, things took a turn quickly. He asked what something was in the bag and it was stated that it was rice packed in one large container intended for two separate orders. My husband asked if she could separate it since we ordered for two households. Her reply (in a very loud tone) was you didn’t tell me it was for two different households and because of that I can give you the container and you can separate it yourself. She really did not create an environment for a restaurant that I would patronize again.

Because some of you don’t like it here but I do and been coming for years , get your order right from the moment you call it in instead of coming here and starting to act like a victim of poor customer service , she served you well,even when your writing a poor review think very well of your actions before you want to ruin anyone’s business , consider your actions before you write**

If I could give zero stars, I would. Buyer beware. After spending nearly $80 on food here, I had an extremely unpleasant experience with the woman working the counter. From the moment we interacted, her tone was rude and dismissive. When I politely mentioned that her tone felt unnecessarily hostile, the situation escalated instead of improving. She began raising her voice and continued to argue rather than trying to resolve the issue. Customer service should be the bare minimum expectation when you’re spending your money somewhere. Instead, I was treated like an inconvenience for simply being a paying customer. The food itself wasn’t memorable enough to justify dealing with that level of disrespect. There are plenty of other places to spend your money in Dade City where customers are treated with basic courtesy. I won’t be returning, and I strongly recommend others think twice before going here.

Well it's been a night first tried China One in January when we first got to Florida. Here it is April and we still continue to go. It's our favorite takeout place. Some people will stay the woman running the register is mean she is not. She's keeping her cooks in line. She's super friendly and remembers order as well. By far the best crab rangoon I have ever eaten in my life

Super friendly staff. My husband and I are from Kansas. We came here about a month ago and thought it was truly fantastic. We decided tonight was a take out night. My husband's new favorite is the four seasons paired with steamed dumpings. I really enjoyed the pork lo mein. It is a take out only spot. But the waiting area is clean and bright. Well token care of. The available bathroom was also clean. It's a popular spot so there is a bit of a wait if you don't call you're order in prior. This is a definite spot to try.

If you know, you know!! China 1 has the best Chinese food around!! Staff is always so incredibly sweet. This is always our go-to place!!
It's take out only. When you are out of town, the last thing you want, is to take food back to your hotel to eat. Service was fast and got what I ordered. The people working there were very nice. I have the same named place in my home town and it has a better flavor to the food there, now this isn't bad at all but lacks a little.

Worse chines I've ever had. Ordered the general tso chicken and fried dumplings to go. Got it home and found not online didn't they include the fried rice but the dumplings were only half cooked. The egg roll was so stale it was inedible. Only reason for 2 star is generous portion of chicken.

The woman who runs this place is a savant. She may seem curt to some, but she is a no nonsense, hard worker who has an amazing ability to remember people in person, or on the phone, and what they usually order, for years. I saw people who hadn't been there in 10 years, but she remembered what they ordered. I won't get Chinese anywhere else. Everything is cooked to order and always tastes good.
