Cuban Grounds Cafe

Definitely a hidden gem. From the outside it doesn’t look like a restaurant at all but once you enter you are transformed into a beautiful place. We have been trying to go for months but our hours available never lined up. Finally made it in and wow! The Cubans are the best! Oh and the rum cake. You have to try the rum cake. From the first bite it was so good. We had to get some to go. We will definitely be back! Hoping they do well and the menu and hours expand! They need to hit up the staff at the school. Send some fliers over with discounts 😂 Get the word out and keep the business flowing 🤗

Had the croquetta sandwich, cafe con leche and a vanilla flan. Everything was amazing and the flan was at least one of the best restaurant made flans i’ve had so far. The atmosphere was comfortable and all of the staff were very nice. Authentic cuban cuisine that made me feel like i was eating at La Segunda in Ybor 10/10

The food is phenomenal! You absolutely need to try the Cuban Waffle! Everything was amazing. Cafe con leche was perfectly made to my specifications. Cannot wait to try them for lunch.

The food was perfect. I'm a bonafide connoisseur of comida cubana and the Cuban o had there checked ALL the boxes ✅✅✅✅ perfect blend of components, perfectly cooked and seasoned, perfectly pressed.
I also had the Guava Flan. Wow.. it's amazing.
I think they would do VERY well to add dishes to the menu. I usually get a plate of food at a Cuban joint but they just had sandwiches and Croquettes.
Expand your . menu brother and you'll be searching for a bigger venue to serve people in no time!

As a native Floridian, I've eaten a lot of Cuban food. Cuban Grounds is at the top. Wow, I was blown away by the Cuban sandwich. And I don't even like flan but I tried theirs and it's amazing! I'll be back for coffee asap! Highly recommend.

Ordered pan con queso with my cafe con leche! Absolutely perfect!! The details are what I love about this place...slicing the bread lengthwise for dunking brought back such beautiful memories of how the Cubanos made it in Ybor City back in the day! Light coating of salt on the bread..
