It was okay, nothing to write home about. I'm from the South and grew up eating homemade Southern food. This seemed more like a restaurant created by someone who isn't from the South but took some of the recipes and did their best with them. The food was under seasoned and way overpriced, you're mostly paying for the atmosphere here. I was correct in my assumption that it seemed like a tourist trap. My family and I were placed at a nice big table by the window next to the hostess. I'm not sure the waitress and hostess knew we could hear them very clearly as our waitress discussed her blisters with her coworker while we tried to eat.

Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free options.

Kid-friendliness: They had kid menus and every kid meal was priced at $7.95 whether they got the chicken or the grilled cheese. They don't have French fries here, just an entree and a bowl of fruit.

I will not go again. Our waitress complained that someone had taken off and so things were rough. Then another waitress came by and said u haven’t been served yet? Something is wrong and I will check. Our ticket was not placed correctly b/c I saw her move it. Then overcooked one of our meals so we had to wait longer. Wow, one person being off for a wedding,that I am sure she gave notice, disrupts the entire functionality of the restaurant. The waitress who stepped up to help us KUDOS to her and I really appreciated her b/c we probably would have never been served. I am very thankful for her positive attitude and willingness to help all. Never once did she point a finger at the original waitrres but the first waitress commented that she needed to stay in her lane. I will never go back nor recommend.

Great little restaurant, I’ve heard about it and happened upon it while in the Downtown area. This is a little trip back in time in my opinion. The kitchen is open to the restaurant and small but they seem to crank out the dishes just fine. There is a shopping section with cool tourists stuff and I believe a bar was being set up inside for drinks as well.

A must-visit if you are in the Dade City area.
Excellent service and the best homemade Southern breakfast/brunch ?.
The mimosas were also the best I have ever tried.
Please try the pork schnitzel; it was amazing!

Wheelchair accessibility: Street parking, so it can be difficult for someone in a wheelchair.

Now Open on Sundays. Great food, great place, great in store shop.

We had a delicious lunch and we ordered the salmon salad and the turkey and bacon croissant sandwich and everything was absolutely delicious!!
The manager John, and staff are so friendly and it feels like a home away from home, we’re looking forward to coming back and trying more menu options!!
Everything was amazing!! 10/10 ??
