Florida Cracker Lunch On Limoges

lunch Saturday 9/6 ordered the chopped California salad. Very disappointed compared to the origional salad. The origional was served on a bed of mixed greens with slices of avocado,cucumbers,tomatoes feta, walnuts,yellow and red beets.and a creamy dressling. The chopped salad was composed of all chopped ingredients mostly red beets, tomatoes, cucumbers. There was no fresh lettuce or greens. It appeared to have frozen spinach with vinegar dressing. Would not order again.

We stopped in for lunch. I had the corned beef sandwich. It was really good. Service was great and pretty quick. I think you could have lunch and make it back to work on time. This restaurant was a staple in Dade City when I lived there 25 years ago, and while a lot has changed, the food is still great.

Chicken salad was okay. Corned beef tasted a little funny. Service was good. Don't know that I would go out of my way to go back.

I am just not into the atmosphere of this restuarant. Although I am reviewing the restuarant food, I miss the boutique atmosphere from the past. It is too redneck/cowboy for me. We don't even check the store. The food was good though I couldn't see why they would put broccoli on a chicken salad sandwich. The waiter was running around and didn't pay much attention to us. We had to ask for muffins as she made some remark while running away. Desserts are expensive. Traveling from Tampa, we probably won't make the trip again.

Charming vintage restaurant. Southern hospitality. I was greeted with delicious mini muffins and house made butter and enjoyed the Athens Grouper for lunch, delicious! Service was attentive but never rushed, and you can tell the staff take real pride in the experience they offer. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down, savor every bite, and leave already planning your next visit. Whether you’re catching up with friends or treating yourself to a quiet solo lunch, this is the kind of spot that makes any ordinary afternoon feel special. A true local treasure! Awesome brunch spot in the heart of downtown dade city! I got the chicken and waffles, it was 10/10 they also have a cool gift shop where I bought chocolate marshmallow whiskey.
