Florida Cracker Lunch On Limoges

Loved the old building, the excellent service, the delicious food, I had the shrimp and grits and raspberry tea.

We sat down at our table and our waitress was really short. Just like that is the way it is. Food was just ok. Wasn’t in a top 10 spot. Waitress didn’t listen. To go order was made for here and not even right. Told her we needed separate checks. That didn’t happen. We were told they were short on lemons so they couldn’t bring us out a lot. No one ordered water. All tea. Sat here waiting for a refill for about 10 mins while no one came up to the table. If you want fast service you have to get up and get someone’s attention.

There is no agreement needed when someone writes a review. You only have one chance in many cases to win a customer over. For every bad experience someone will tell 10-20 other people. There were 5 of us. You can imagine. I don’t know what the kindness comment was about. When I had to get up out of my seat to ask someone to please let my waitress know I need something is pretty kind to me. I even said please and thank you. I understand everyone has a bad day, busy weekend, or things that go wrong. You could have said all of that. You are right though, another restaurant will be my choice for the future.

The staff was amazing! They greeted us with a smile and Brenda was so sweet. The food was different and delicious. The muffins and fruit butter to start was a great way to start lunch. We met TJ the GM at the end of the meal and he really cares about this place.

We love this place. We drive about an hour to get there about every 6 weeks or so. The food is so good. My husband loves the catfish. I have tried lots of things and have loved them all. The muffins and butter of the day is great! They are always very friendly and very attentive.

What a great little jem in Dade City. Great food and the atmosphere is amazing.

My family and I adore this eatery! Settled in downtown Dade, it creates a very relaxed atmosphere. The food is amazing and fresh! The started muffins and flavored butter melts in your mouth. Friendly and quick service, and love the quiche, waffles and chicken salad. Haven't had anything we didn't like. And the desserts are homemade and delicious! The strawberry cake stole my heart. The little shop attached offers such a cute variety of options. We get something everytime, and I have several of their Tshirts. I highly suggest Florida Cracker!

I was hungry for something not on the menu( a BLT) and they made me one, anyhow...on a croissant! It was great and so was my service! It's one of the things I appreciate about Florida Cracker establishments, consistently good, friendly service, and I'm always happy with the quality and portions, as well!

The food is all homemade, the atmosphere is welcoming and the service is what a customer hopes for when dining out. The chairs could be improved upon!

So we had the fried green tomatoes and I gotta say the corn meal style breading was not for us. I understand every restaurant is different so this will not be something we order again. I wanted a breakfast sandwich so I ordered the egg and cheese with out sausage. The sandwich is 12 dollars with sausage and 12 dollars with out sausage… I’m not understanding that at all. The hit of the day was the chicken and waffles. 9/10 on that… the lack of good non dairy milk substitutes and over all a lack luster menu has this as a one and done which is a shame since we have lived in dade city for 9 years and still don’t think we have a good breakfast option

The food was alright, but seemed very hurried and not well put together. Small food selection, but an ok one. Bring a straw because they don't carry them! They were overall ok, but not a place we will make a habit of.

DISAPPOINTING. We were excited to be able to walk in and NOT BE ON A WAIT for lunch! Our server approached us and said “Hey guys,” to which I cringe. I am NOT 1000% undeniably absolutely a GUY. It’s a southern thing to be addressed with “hey yall” or “hey folks” or “how are we doing today.”
We order the turkey bacon club and pork schnitzel.
Food was out within 10 minutes.
Croissant was TINY and the portion was more of a kids portion. It came with a fruit cup, which had mushy grapes and hard cantaloupe. The pork was RAW when cut into, so of course we sent it back. The Boss Man came over and apologized and said they had a new one cooking. So I ate alone. When the schnitzel arrived, after 3 bites, it was STILL NOT THOROUGHLY COOKED. We asked for the boss again and he came over. Apologized and I suggested a 1)timer and a 2)thermometer for the cook. He kinda said yeahhhh… and said we’re gonna take your meal off sir. They offered to replace it—but at that point I was done snd still hungry!
We paid and will not be back. Why? They couldn’t get it right TWICE and I don’t want to pay for more food to eat alone.
