One of my 2 favorite places in dade city! Food and service is always excellent!

We tried Green Door last night, and I'm so happy we did - everything was outstanding! Drinks, service, atmosphere and food. The gumbo, shrimp appetizer, sea bass and filet were all served piping hot and the flavor of all the components of each meal was amazing. We will definitely be back and even left over today the sea bass was so good!! Oh, and even tho we were not able to finish our meals because the portions were great, we shared a chocolate chip cookie, which was amazing, too!

We reached out to green door about our experience and they left us on read, and didn’t respond. The food made both of us sick. We both had the same thing.

Great food, atmosphere and staff.
Probably the best ribeye, filet, brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese we have ever tasted. Cozy and quaint. Our server was fantastic and dessert, the bread pudding was delicious.
We will be coming back even though it's 40 miles away! It's that good.

This resturant saved my wife's and I's wedding. Our food caterer canceled two days before our wedding and the owner of this restaurant heard about it. He quickly called us and set up everything and matched the price and menu of the old vendor. Without him we would have been stuck with pizza. I cant say enough great things about the owner and resturant. The food was delicious and the service was even better!

Loved this place- the ambience, the wonderful wait staff( attentive and pleasant), and delicious food, which was fresh, loaded with flavor, and at a reasonable price. We tried several
items on brunch menu( special chicken sandwich, jambalaya, biscuits and gravy, and chefs salad) but need to return to sample the regular lunch and dinner menu. Oh, and don't forget to try their fresh baked cookies!

I saved this place on my to go list for long time and finally made a reservation by phone for last Saturday. I got a call 30 mins prior to my reservation that they are canceling the reservation because of some technical reason. In my whole life, I l never had this kind of cancellation. Very disappointing!

We have been here several times with mixed results. I badly want to like this place, the atmosphere is very nice and everything smells great. The last time having lunch there, my lunch was good but my friends was a disaster. Today was my turn for disaster.

My group of 6 arrived just after 11am. There was one table seated. We waited standing at the door for about 5 minutes before they sat us.

I ordered Goats Do Roam, a goat cheese Flatbread. Our group waited over 45 minutes after ordering for our food. People that came in after us were well into their meals before ours arrived. My Flatbread was extremely tough and hard to chew through. I could barely break it in pieces with my hands. The toppings were extremely scant. My husband got the red beans & rice, it was very good. I left most of the Flatbread on the plate and ate the few toppings, the waitress did not question why so much was left.

One of our group asked about our lengthy wait, the waitress had an attitude and said it was because we were a party of 6. We do not have this issue at other local places.

Once again, I really want to like this place, but unfortunately it has not lived up to expectations.

We were a party of 6. We waited almost 5 minutes to be seated at 11 with 1 other table filled. Waitress never spoke to us. Waited on only other customers in restaurant and got their drinks. Another person finally sat us. Once seated we ordered and many people came in. We waited 45 minutes for our lunch. When we asked why everyone else got serviced first the waitress told us we were a party of 6 everyone else were 2. She was very rude about it. The chips were extremely salted. We will not be returning

This was our first time there for dinner with friends. What a cozy, unique restaurant with great food and service. The decor is so different with antique head boards on the wall!! We were a party of 7 and was seated and served quickly!! We will definitely return.

Parking: Lots of free parking and close to the restaurant.

My sister took me by here for a bite to eat. I had been home sick for southern cooking. We had a great time and loved the Chips and Blue. I had the Jambalaya which was nice and the sauce base seemed more of a south Louisiana gumbo style. Overall I would describe it as hearty and cozy.
