Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port

This Courtyard by Marriott provided some of the best service I’ve experienced in years of traveling. The rooms were excellent, and the staff went above and beyond, especially Fritz. He helped with our three-day conference from setup to departure and made everything run smoothly. A great choice for both business meetings and a comfortable stay.

Everyone great you when you walk in. Great customer service, has a nice bar, lounge abs sitting are and rooms are nice size and very clean. And great location.

That location was too far in the back.

Excellent hamburger and service in the Bistro; food was great by the cook Octavio & Theonna the sever was great & friendly

Omggggg the bar tender Miss. Theonna was the best, when there wasn’t any regular Pepsi, she went and found it!!! I will forever come back, T is the best!!!!

Rooms are a bit dated but okay. Furniture in suite was not comfortable. Had to search fir a hair dryer. No luggage stand. And the elevator was broken fir hours. We and others have mobility issues. The counter girl said I would have to walk up 6 flights of stairs. Finally someone let people use a service elevator but after I navigated the stairwell after knee replacement. This morning the elevator was working again. Just in time for me to leave.

the best place to spend a weekend

Very comfortable rooms. The exercise room could be a little bigger for that size hotel though. If that is you thing you might look elsewhere.

I checked in at 3am. I am a Bonvoy Gold member and requested a 2pm checkout which was approved. I had the do not disturb sign on the door.

So why is someone knocking on my door in the morning to ask when I’m leaving?

Absolutely terrible. I reserved a booking online and when I got to the front desk they tried charging me double what I was supposed to for a daily deposit and parking. When I made the online reservation it didn’t say anywhere to expect those additional fees. It’s also loud, dirty, and there’s too many people. I was already having a bad day and this made it so much worse now I I’m scrambling trying to find a place tonight. Not to mention the woman at the front desk had no sympathy and was passive aggressive. I will never book with courtyard again.

Good stay! I enjoyed the nice and spacious rooms and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was outdoors, included a moveable chair lift, and also had a spa. Airport and cruise shuttle service is a nice amenity
