I was forced to write a bad review, so I found myself in a rather funny and at the same time sad situation. On February 3, we came for lunch with a group. There were questions about some of the dishes, namely, they served manti strewn with onions. Ok, we asked to make a second portion “to go” for the child without onions. The lamb kebab was covered in fragrant seasoning (attached photo). They didn't eat. We also asked to change it, because the waiter didn’t come to us on the street anymore. I went into a cafe, paid the bill in full, and left a tip. Arriving home, we discovered that the second portion of manti was also covered in onions, and the child did not eat either. In the evening I contacted the owner. We handed the phone to the chef, he apologized, (!!!) admitted ALL the mistakes, promised to take action, invited us to come again, said that he would make our future visit at the expense of the establishment! But when we arrived on February 24, the owner himself was there, he was very surprised by the information about the free lunch, promised to clarify, left and never came again). Ok, we had lunch, I entered the establishment, the boss started talking to someone on the phone, and gave me an invoice for the fee. I’m just very busy, I didn’t have time to fulfill what I promised.Unsightly behavior from the owner and staff. This is not how business is done. And it’s not about the $60 that was so shamefully “squeezed”, it’s about the attitude. And the “Halal” sign on the door is not just about food! The Qur'an talks about honesty and righteousness. People are encouraged to be fair in their dealings and relationships with others. It also emphasizes the importance of piety and justice in food matters. This establishment has clearly forgotten about this.

Not tasty food. Bad service. Today I took a lula kebab and pilaf for the child. Food without spice, without salt, without taste. The food is not fresh. Avoid this place. You will lose money!!!

I recently had this amazing experience eating out at a place that completely blew me away. The moment I walked in, the vibe was just so welcoming, setting the perfect mood for what was about to be an epic meal. The menu took me on this incredible flavor trip, but let me zero in on a couple of dishes that really stood out.First up, the manty. Oh my, these dumplings were something else - steamed to perfection with a filling that was juicy, rich, and had just the right kick of spices. It was clear that a lot of love and skill went into making these, and it's something I'd rush back for any day. Then there was the samsa. Imagine the flakiest, butteriest pastry packed with a filling that hit the perfect mix of hearty and fragrant. The way the flavors danced together was just mind-blowing, and every single bite had me more hooked than the last. And don't even get me started on the demb chopsy. This dish was like a symphony of flavors and textures, with meat so tender it just fell apart. The seasoning lifted up the meat's natural tastes without drowning them out, showcasing some serious kitchen wizardry.Eating at this spot was a memory for the books. The staff couldn't do enough for you, and the whole place had this cozy, inviting feel. But honestly, it was the food that really stole the spotlight – each dish was a feast for the eyes and the palate, packed with flavors that were rich, intricate, and perfectly in sync. If you're after a top-notch foodie experience, you've got to check this place out.

Grandma's Secret, Uzbek cuisine. 50 E Dania Beach Blvd, open 4 months. Owned and operated by ethnic Uzbeks, super nice people. We ordered a few of the typical dishes: Tashkent Pilav (rice dish with braised meat, the national dish, with yellow carrots imported from NYC), Manti (large dumplings with chunky meat inside), a Samsa pastry with pumpkin (excellent), traditional yeast bread (excellent), Ayran (salty yogurt drink), Compote (dried fruit tea). The smell coming off the charcoal grill with meat and roasting chiles is intoxicating. The food has a heavy taste of cumin, although their rice dish is not as heavily spiced as you would find in Afghanistan or Iran. Lots of Russians and central asians hanging out here. It doesn't feel like you're in SoFL, so for the experience, I would say, by all means, go. I'm unsure if Rachel and I are a fan of the overall cuisine style (compared to say, Georgian or Afghan/Persian) although I think I might prefer the grilled kebabs over the braised meat that was in the pilav. But we'd still come back, with more people.

Great experience! My girlfriend and I were looking for a new food place to try while in town and this was right next to our hotel. We had never tried this cuisine and loved it!

Stay away you won't get in. It only seats about 12 people inside and 6 -8 outside. Passed by about 8:30 on Sat night they were slammed inside and out! Been there COUPLE of times now, great Greek salad and also I would order the meat Manti AS An app (4 Hugh steamed dumplings). Also had THIS CHICKEN APP NOT SURE WHAt it was OREDERED BY FRIEND LARGE SHREDDED CHICKEN WITH White Radishes it was so huge IT should Have been Main course. The Lamb CHOPS and beef kabobs which is served with onions and Pomegranates are both off the charts and lets not forget the homemade bread!

Such a nice place when you miss the traditional food and vibe! The serving lady is always hospitable and shiny. Our most loved ones are Samsa (puffy dough with meat and cumin cooked in the oven), lagman (fried or boiled noodles with meat and veggies), manty (steamed dough and meat), and of course their fresh bread with butter and fruit tea! If you are from Central Asia, you would definitely like it!
