Fantastic breakfast with a warm welcome from the staff. Can’t wait for my next breakfast at the Best of British
Had to try it because of all the positive reviews. Not at all worth the hype. had to wait 25 minutes at a table and finally had to chase someone down to take our order. The food had no flavor, the fries were cold and not cooked through. Nobody asked us for drinks refills. 1 of 5 stars and what a shame....the place has very cute decorations. Very disappointed spend your money elsewhere better food and service for sure.
Always come here with my family when I'm in Orlando, the breakfast is spot on, the staff are really friendly, and the new premises is fantastic!!
Christmas dinner exceeded all expectations!! Martin, Anne & Chris are diamonds who made sure we were well looked after. Highly recommend to all Brits visiting Florida to pencil in a visit.
We visited this pub whilst on holiday in Orlando, and it will be one of our great memories. Football mad hubby and son were possessed to find a bar to watch the Liverpool premiership games and following some research we found this pub and what place. Highly recommend, The owners are fab, friendly and fun. No rip off here, decent prices and lovely food and the service was spot on. They even have a “Corner Shop” which sells British goods. We were staying approx 25 minute drive away and it was worth the uber. We met so many lovely people whilst watching the games and will definitely visit again when we are next in Orlando. Thanks
The waitress, who may be the owner, was so sweet and personable. The food was delicious! It happened to be trivia night so we joined in and had an absolute blast! The place was decorated in a fun British theme and had such a warm and friendly energy. I wish I lived nearby so I could visit more often, it was so much fun!
Kid-friendliness: We brought our daughters on trivia night and it was very kid friendly.

I rarely write reviews, but the terrific experiences I had at the Best of British Pub over the Thanksgiving period demanded it.
The pub has an unassuming front in a small strip mall (although the community library in the English phone box, was a nice touch), but opening the door was like entering Santa's grotto for Ex-Pats, Anglophiles and Brit curious folk from all backgrounds.
The walls are covered in football (soccer) paraphernalia, the shelves drip with familiar goodies and treats from home, like Bisto, Cadbury's, Bird's custard, advent calendars, selection boxes, Christmas puddings etc. testing my restraint on the impulse to buy it all!
Then there is the warmest of welcomes from the staff who instantly take you back to your 'Local' from home.
While Father Christmas (Santa) is probably still the jolliest guy around, Marty, Ann and Jimmy are very close behind!! They are genuinely concerned and will do anything to ensure you have a great experience. Nothing was too much trouble! I had booked early for Thanksgiving lunch expecting an English roast dinner. When they made the decision to do a traditional American Thanksgiving dinner, Martin called to let me know, but insisted that since we had already booked for the English version, he would accommodate anyone who would prefer that. True to his word and to the extreme credit of his kitchen staff, seven of us had our own special lunch that day and it was wonderfully fresh and delicious! Then when the Pecan pies weren't quite ready when we were ready for desert - instantly we were offered sticky toffee pudding as an unpublished alternative - Seven wonderful puddings were scoffed down!
A special shout out to Jan our server, who had been roped in to help out on the day and was fantastic - you would never have known she wasn't a regular and I am sure she would still be entertaining my 88 year old Mother-In-Law with chatter from England today if my Mother-In-law had her way - She had the best time being lauded over and made to feel really special by Jan, Martin, Ann and Jimmy. She said it was the best Thanksgiving she could remember!
The local friends we dragged along for an 'English Thanksgiving Experience' also loved it - especially not having to cook and their first experience of a traditional British Roast Dinner. It will not be their last!
I don't need to say that the food was great - The turkey juicy the vegetables fresh and delicious and the Yorkshire puddings had me dreaming of home.
We also went back for the full English breakfast, and it didn't disappoint. The sausages were plump and wonderfully tasty, the bacon (which they cure themselves) fantastic the black pudding excellent etc. all washed down by a big pot of tea!!
It was by far the best 'Full English' I have had in the States, and I have more than 30 years in the US.
All I can say is a huge 'Thank You' to all at The 'Best of British' - I have a new favorite US based British pub and I would tell everyone to give it a try if you are in the Orlando area and don't think twice about driving an hour or so for one of their Sunday Lunches or that 'Belly Buster' breakfast!!

As expats from England who've lived in Florida for the past 14 years, we've finally found the best English breakfast outside of the UK at the Best British Pub in Davenport. The meal was truly authentic and delicious! The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Wish we lived closer because we'll definitely be back! Highly recommended for anyone craving a taste of the UK.

Wow! 25 years living in the states and I’ve and never come across a full english, that changed today. Tasted just like the one I had in England a few weeks ago. Fantastic place for watching the match and the biggest selection of English food/sweets/chocolate I’ve seen outside the UK. Really nice owners, will definitely be back. Check this place out when in Florida
