Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience at this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us with a bad attitude, looking annoyed and asking us in a rude tone what we needed. When we said we were there to dine, he reluctantly seated us.
When he came to our table to take our order, I started to explain how I wanted my dish asking whether the meat would be well cooked or if he would bring everything to cook it at the table and he yelled at me. It was completely uncalled for and disrespectful.
Because of this treatment, my husband and I decided to leave the restaurant without ordering. That level of aggression is unacceptable in any dining setting. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Ok, there's a young lady there that appears to have a bad attitude. HOWEVER, if you pay attention, you will see that she's answering the phone, seating people, taking orders, serving people, and bussing the tables. The service is great and the food delicious and fresh. If you have a little patience with a very stressed but competent employee juggling tasks, everything will be great.

What can I say? I’ve been going back to this place over and over for sushi and ramen—and honestly, my God, it’s so damn good. Like, if loving Davenport Sashimi Fusion is wrong, I don’t want to be right.
Every bite is like a warm hug from a sushi chef who just gets you. The sushi? Fresh. Flavorful. Basically edible art that makes your taste buds do a happy dance. The ramen? Soul-soothing. Like a bowl of comfort that says, “Hey, everything’s gonna be okay—slurp me slowly and feel feelings again.”
The staff are always so kind and welcoming, it’s like walking into your foodie best friend’s house (if your friend happened to be a culinary wizard with a wasabi wand). Whether I’m dining in, picking up takeout, or just pretending I “accidentally” drove by again for the fifth time this week—they always make me feel like part of the family.
Davenport Sashimi Fusion, you’re my go-to, my serotonin boost, my spicy tuna soulmate. Never change. (Except maybe longer hours, because my cravings don’t sleep.)

Food was great. Did take out. Because we ordered late, they compensated for what we wanted with a bit more of something else.

I want to start by highlighting the amazing service we received from the hostess — a young woman dressed in black, incredibly kind, professional, and full of positive energy. She truly made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.
Unfortunately, the experience was completely overshadowed by a disturbing incident. A man — apparently from the kitchen staff, also dressed in black — stormed out yelling aggressively, behaving in an extremely rude and inappropriate manner. Shockingly, he directed his outburst at the same hostess who was doing a wonderful job.
His behavior was so disruptive that we are seriously considering legal action for disturbing the peace. This kind of aggression has no place in any public establishment, especially towards employees who are simply doing their job with excellence.
The hostess deserves praise and recognition. The man from the kitchen should be held accountable, and the restaurant must take immediate action. If not, they risk much more serious consequences.

Horrible customer service. “Manager” was rude and made our dinner a major inconvenience. I will never order again from here solely on their attitude. Manager should have someone available that could speak English instead of deferring their communication because of language barrier.

In town and was looking for a particular restaurant last night, but couldn't find it so we decided on this place. It was empty except for one other couple. Ordered Hibachi off the menu. Disappointed in the scallops as there were very thin and seemed imitation. Calamari was definitely imitation as it was rings covered in a heavy bread. Shrimp was a little overcooked. Red snapper was bland. Both plates were swimming in heavy teriyaki sauce. Best part of the meal was the small soup and salad. Waitress very friendly. We would likely not return.

So we were visiting and were a little disappointed that the restaurant was not actually hibachi. Dishes are prepared out of site in a kitchen and brought to the table. With that being said the severe was great! The food was a solid 4 out of 5 as well! Some dishes could have been a tad hotter but overall it was very good. Sushi too was good!
