I have been here before and enjoyed their brisket sandwich so I visited again with my wife to try their primetime burger and my wife tried their grilled bbq chicken.

I have to say the burger was cooked to perfectly to medium but had no flavor. Just tasted like meat. It needed more seasoning. Honestly it tasted like they did not season the meat at all. For the price we paid for the burger I expected more flavor from it. Speaking of paid, we also spent money on a dry chicken sandwich that barely had any bbq sauce or seasoning. The portion size is great and all but the flavor is just not there to have us go back again.

If you want to laugh, eat well, and be treated like royalty without asking go ahead, ask for Jason. But don’t say we didn’t warn you. 😆

Jason was our sever and he was absolutely amazing! His personality made our experience a memorable one. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and made some great recommendations. The food was mediocre and the lighting was a bit too dim in our area. I will say the buffalo dip was a hit!

He’s originally from the UK, so not only was the service spot on, but he also kept us laughing the entire time with his witty British humor. Friendly, professional, and genuinely fun to talk to—Jason went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. If you’re heading to Ovation, ask for him—you won’t be disappointed!

The Salmon was amazing! Alex and Susie were great servers as we had a rather large group. Food was delivered quickly!

Had a large group of 25+ for a volleyball tournament and they set up a private room with a reservation. Alex and Susie were the 2 servers that were up to the task. They were truly 2 of a kind for our group. Very helpful, VERY entertaining, and made the dinner more of an experience than planned. Definitely a place we will look for with our group next year!!!

As usual food and staff were excellent but maybe we went at the wrong time it was very noisy and not the best experience. Still highly recommended and we love it.

Food wasn't very good. Brisket and chicken were very dry. Lobster Mac lacked flavor. Ribs were okay but a little on the tough side. We were visiting the area from out of town and even though we may return to the Davenport area, we probably wouldn't be back to Ovation.

We had a great time at Ovation. We had a large group of 11 (ages 5 to 80) and our server, Brie, weas amazing. She was so friendly and patient and made our night so much fun! All of the other servers would say hello as well. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was lively. Truly a fun family place!

This restaurant was not what I expected at all. The service was awful. Our waiter was not paying attention. Brought sweet tea when unsweetened was requested. Forgot tomato allergy. It took forever to get a cup of coffee that had grounds in it The food was not great. We will not be back.

We've been enjoying this restaurant since we relocated three years ago. It's locally owned, good vibe, neighborhood feel. The food is always good; service iffy. This time we brought our out of town friends and it was our best overall experience yet! Mahi Mahi, steak, ribs - all perfect. Jacob was our server and he was over the top good. Jason was fun to talk with. Wow!
