This place was disappointing and very unsafe for people of color. While dining here, many of the staff (predominantly white) waited until an African American employee left for the day to use distasteful profanity while picking on his race and dexacom diabetes monitor (a major health condition) IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. To the young man, I’m so sorry you work around disgusting people. I’m just glad they didn’t have the audacity to say it to your face. To Waffle House, every single one of them on the Thanksgiving 2025 night shift should be fired and held accountable for the disgraceful conduct. “Tony” the shift manager even said that the company knows he does like to work with black people and pointed out that everyone else on shift was white except the young man. We will be getting in contact with the EEOC and NAACP on that young man’s behalf.

Good morning. Thank you for reading my review. I am blown away by the pricing at this restaurant. Born and raised in Atlanta Georgia 8 miles from the original Waffle House in Avondale Estates. I guess you can charge whatever you want for the same food. Burger and hash browns, waffle, eggs and bacon $59 online and $62 in the store. I’m not sure of why it’s so much. I’ve eaten at waffle houses all over America and I assure you that I’ll never return to this restaurant. Truly shaming a great American traditional breakfast spot. Prices are totally different 10 miles away.
