They don't set people in the order they come in they let groups just walk in and set at tables your waiting on I guess if your white your over looked for what ever reason this place is not a good place to eat they think it's ok to treat guess according to color I want spend another dollar at this location

The breakfast meal was delicious and yummy. You would be satisfied with just bacon and eggs because they give you a nice portion that you is ready to save some food like the waffle and hash browns for later the day.

Everyone’s so friendly and welcoming. We had the privilege so far to have Dee Dee and Amber as our waitresses this trip. Both have been amazing and go above and beyond. The food is amazing and never disappoints. Always cooked with love. Waffles are also on point. Love the vibes here and highly recommend for any time of the day.

I've never been to Waffle House before as there are none where I live in PA but I've heard mixed reviews so I wanted to give it a try while I was in the area. Karl and Deedy had excellent service and we were really impressed with the food quality and prices! I will definitely come back and I recommended the place to my family that lives in Davenport.

This new Waffle House in Davenport is an absolute disgrace. WHAT KIND OF WAFFLE HOUSE OPENS UP AND TELLS PEOPLE IT’S TAKEOUT ONLY?! With a security guard inside like it’s a prison cafeteria? Are you out of your minds?
Waffle House is supposed to be 24/7, sit down, order at the counter, watch the food sizzle, drink coffee refills, and actually enjoy the diner vibe. That’s the whole tradition. That’s the whole reason people even bother going. Instead, you’ve destroyed it on DAY ONE. No tables. No sit-down. No late-night atmosphere. Just a sad bag of food tossed at you like you’re not even worth the effort. PATHETIC.
If I wanted to eat out of a bag, I’d hit Taco Bell’s drive-thru for half the price. People come to Waffle House for the EXPERIENCE, not to stare at a locked dining room while some rent-a-cop sits inside pretending that eggs and waffles are high-security items. It’s insulting.
You wasted my time, you wasted my money, and you destroyed what should’ve been a late-night tradition. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs to be FIRED immediately. This isn’t Waffle House. This is a fraud with a sign slapped on it.

What’s the point of opening a brand-new Waffle House in Davenport if you’re going to run it as takeout only with a security guard inside like it’s Fort Knox? Waffle House is supposed to be about sitting down at 2 a.m. with friends or family, enjoying a hot meal, and soaking in the classic atmosphere. Instead, you’re forcing people to stand around like it’s a fast-food joint.
If I wanted takeout, I could’ve gone anywhere else. The whole tradition of Waffle House is the sit-down experience, especially late at night. That’s why people go there — for the comfort, the community, and the late-night diner vibe.
Opening a new location and then immediately taking away what makes Waffle House Waffle House is a slap in the face to loyal customers. Figure out your staffing, figure out your management, but don’t waste people’s time advertising a new location that isn’t really open the way it should be.
Until this place opens for actual dine-in service, don’t even bother calling it a Waffle House.

Today my husband and I stopped by for brunch and the meal and service was great.
To top off everything was the exceptional customer service offered by Ms. Deedy. You can truly tell that she enjoys her job and working with her customers. She made our visit both welcoming and fun.
We both ordered the All Star breakfast. My husband ordered coffee and I ice water.
She honestly had my husband and I smiling and laughing throughout our entire visit.
Ms. Deedy, attended to our table without hesitation. She ensured that we didn't have a need for anything. She was very efficient in the service that she offered.
She's such a delight and very welcoming. I love the way she advertises the Waffle House brand, which demo states the love she has for her job.
